A report from Examiner.com says that Hulk Hogan has made a verbal agreement to return to WWE. According to the report, a source within the company is saying that Hogan will be back with the company, but he has "not signed a legends deal". eWrestlingNews.com can't confirm this report so take this with a grain of salt. Also keep in mind the source of the news.
There is also supposedly talk of Hogan being a surprise entrant in the 2014 Royal Rumble. WWE has also been talking up Hogan more frequently as of late on WWE TV in order to promote WWE 2K14. With WrestleMania 30 happening next year, there are also reports saying that Hogan will be contacted by WWE to make an appearance, possibly a match. Again, we can't confirm any of this. We know WWE would obviously be interested in having Hulk Hogan at the milestone WrestleMania 30 pay-per-view event but absolutely no deal has been agreed upon according to our eWrestlingNews.com sources.
The Examiner.com source also said: "We knew this would happen at some point. It's my understanding that there isn't a contract in place, but there's a verbal agreement that will move forward. It's just a good fit for everybody involved, especially with the milestone WrestleMania 30 coming up. Hogan needed to finish up his stuff with TNA and just come home."
