Why Is Trish So Damn Special?

Seriously i do not get why trish stratus is so praised by wwe when she retired she won her match Lita didnt win and i think that's bullshit yes her personal life isnt all that great but still she has opened doors just as much as trish did and for her to lose her last match was some bullshit even victoria lost i mean are you kidding me! victoria deserves so much more i hate how they do that its bull.

i dont think Trish is special. She came in the area of when divas were actually women wrestler( a shock, i know) who ended up making her look a million times better then what people put her over has. She will always be above average in my book.

I sense a diva debate

Trish is special for many reasons... She pushed for womens wrestling, she put over other divas (Jazz, Molly, Victoria and Mickie). Honestly without Trish those girls would not have been huge. She was also special because Vince loved her. She always improved, was over with the crowd, fantastic on the mic and the sexxiest diva ever. Trish was the total package. That's why she's special.

its the other way around blue, they put trish over with their skills. Without them she wouldnt of been huge. and vince loves kelly, she aint special. well maybe ed, but thats another thing.

lmao, I've been waiting for a topic like this. So many people like Trish so, they won't say shit. I think it's bull how they pushed her so far too, it's agravating. Expecially when her skills were complete shit at the start of her career, though there were other divas who were always good.

ok Trish was not that good in the ring when she started but she worked her butt off to get better in the ring and she is one of the best women wrestlers in the wwe next to Lita, The Fabulous Moolah, and i could go on but with out trish Victoria would of not of been looked at as good and Mickie would be a wat kelly is right now

As Bones said, she tried really hard to the best, and with her looks, she got pushed to the top. She is the definition of WWE Diva, and she even helped get over a few of the current Divas, which shows she cared more about the division, than herself.

Keyword there is Diva, has in what WWE thinks women wrestlers should be. if she was on in the Indy's she would be nothing special. has for being one of the best female wrestlers, u are far from correct.

yes. they both came form the indies. they had been big enough for wwe to take notice. has for mic skills a lot of them do, look at most in Roh, look at a lot of the females in TNA they have better mic skills then her.

I don't hate Trish what so ever, I still stand by what I said.

In a good note, I did think she was a good diva, one of the more mature one's, it's quite hard to come across that. Just sometimes I feel, ok, enough of Trish. It's like they talk more about her then the current trash I mean divas they have now.

I'm more or less a Trish fan, same as I said for Lita, I'm not going to say everything about this person is amazing. Though, if Lita really did do all that shit in Mexico, Trish is way more mature then her & it's a shame I had to learn that about a diva I liked since I was younger. But hey, that's the way it goes.

Anyway, I have always felt that Lita contributed allot more to women being taken as beautiful, deadly and daring way before Trish came. I think Lita is kind of overlooked sometimes by some people only due to the way the E panned her career and retirement after the whole Edge/Hardy thing. I mean really, selling dildos and panties is not a way to send of someone who contributed so much to women's wrestling.

I dont like Trish. She was average at best in my opinion. Lita was far better than her and was the reason the WWE had to work on making Trish better. Unfortunately Trish fit the typical WWE profile of Diva: blonde and beautiful...so they skyrocketed her to the top.

It irks me that she was allowed to win that title 7 times...and win her final match. I was happy to see her go, though. Because with her around the WWE would never truly put faith in pushing the other divas who have the talent to become big. They always had Trish in the back corner and after all these years i was so annoyed by her very presence on the roster. Now that she's gone the WWE has no choice but to work with what they have.

Yes Trish has improved during her time in WWE but she's not great or special to me. She's just a good looking chick that was shoved down my throat for years. So now, I'm just freakin sick of her, honestly.

With Trish, she was more about wanting the division to succeed that having her in the spotlight all the time. So she won 7 titles, so what? The Fabulous Moolah held the Women's championship longer than Trish's 7 title wins, and that's just one title run! Besides, I think Mickie James will end up beating Trish's record soon. Her, or another Diva.

I know for a fact that there were (and are) better wrestlers than Trish in terms of talent, beauty, and mic time. But there are few that had that "total package" feeling as Trish. Don't hate the player, hate the game.

BTW, for some reason, I'm not in the least bit surprised that a hardcore Lita fan started this thread. Not hating...just saying.

Victoria has put over basically everyone who is inexperienced, so why didn't she recieve a bigger push? It shows that putting over other divas means shit to WWE.

the number of title reigns Trish had compared to Victoria when they both were employed by WWE tells a different story. Victoria had the talent to get somewhere but the gimmicks given to her were bad choices...once she wasnt psycho Victoria, WWE just made her a joke to everyone.

I call those pity reigns cause if WWE wanted to they would've stuck the belt on Trish and left it there.

yeah when Victoria went psycho again, vs Mickie, and made that infamous list...that was a prime time to stick the belt back around her waist.

maybe she was made so special because between the era of 2002-2003 where trish won like 4 reigns she was the only face capable of heading the divas devision as girls like jacqueline and torrie just werent as over or popular. we all know lita was out for years with a neck injury....im sure if lita was around we wouldnt have this discussion

All the wrestling she ever did was in wwe so to me that makes her nothing. Other women who got their starts in big feds have done indy feds which is respectful for women still busting their butt to make it to the big feds. Think about that.

Trish is only popular because Lita broke her neck, and they need a new diva to be the face of the division, and since people knew Trish from her feuds with Lita, wwe used her, if Lita hadn't broken her neck, she'd be a 7 time champ NOT Trish.

I wouldn't say Lita would be a 7 time champ but she would have recieved a longer reign and couple more title reigns as well.

You know what irks me? That WWE can have a few divas be "Trish popular" but WWE refuse to invest in the division like they used to. When will they realize that both Trish and Lita are retired? They need to stop living the past and focus on the division. Stop trying to find another Trish, make someone be there own person.

but the basic fact is that when she is the only credible face in a devision amongst 3 top heels she is going to have to be in the lime light and face them all
the only way heels these days lose titles to heels is through triple threats and stuff
we couldnt have victoria v molly when both are heels or jazz v molly
it had to be trish v jazz, then trish v molly, then trish v victoria....its the basic concept of good vs evil
where as if lita was still around they allow a trish v jazz, trish v molly, molly v lita, lita v victoria and trish v victoria ettcetc

but see Victoria wasnt there she was in OVW when Trish started to get big and they brought Victoria in to feud with Trish who was popular enough to get Victoria over and the crowd into the matches. Yes if Lita didnt break her neck it would of been both Lita and Trish the top divas but Trish was the choosen one so get over it.

Trish wasnt the "chosen one" she just benefited from Lita's misfortune.

but if lita was around, or jacquline could get her ass over with fans, or torrie and stacey couldve improved more as wrestlers then she woulda shared the spotlight and not be the spotlight
