TNA Impact last Thursday, January 2 scored a 0.91 rating, down 14 percent from the final show of 2013.
Impact averaged 1.1 million viewers, down 19 percent from the previous week. It was the fewest viewers since Thanksgiving in November.
Impact did not rank in the Top 50 cable shows or Top 100 in adults 18-49 on Thursday night against the highly-watched Sugar Bowl college football game.
- Impact's overall rating was off a 0.95 first hour rating and 0.86 second hour rating.
Impact peaked at the start of the show with 1.01 ratings in Q1 and Q2, then began a steady decline. The show bottomed out with a 0.82 rating at the top of the second hour, which is when Impact typically gets a ratings bump.

Q1: Impact opened with a show-high 1.01 rating for the latest Kurt Angle-Bobby Roode confrontation, plus one commercial.
Q2: Impact stayed at a 1.01 rating for Gail Kim vs. Madison Rayne in Knockouts action, plus one commercial. Impact then began its slide against the start of the Sugar Bowl college football game...
Q3: Impact declined to a 0.93 rating for Austin Aries vs. Chris Sabin in an X Division Title match, one commercial, and Sam Shaw's re-packaged debut.
Q4: Impact declined to a 0.84 rating for video packages and two full commercial breaks.
Q5: Impact declined to a show-low 0.82 rating at the top of the hour for Kurt Angle & Gunner vs. Bobby Roode & James Storm in a tag match, one commercial, and the first-half of Sting and ECIII's exchange.
Q6: Impact increased to a 0.88 rating for the second-half of Sting-ECIII, one commercial, and Bully Ray vs. Joseph Park in a "match."
