NBC Universal is considering helping build a WWE Hall of Fame/WWE presence at Universal Studios in Orlando, reports the New York Post.

The pitch would be considered a deal sweetener during the ongoing TV negotiations between WWE and NBCU for Raw, Smackdown, and other programming.

WWE wants to double (or triple) the amount of money they receive for TV programming, which is listed at $140 million-per-year in the Post's report.

NBCU's exclusive negotiating window ends next week, which would then allow WWE to negotiate with other media conglomerates. Two companies listed in the Post report are Viacom, whose Spike TV channel carries TNA Impact, and Turner, who feuded with McMahon during the 1990s.

If WWE and NBCU do not agree to a deal during the current negotiating window, The Post reports that NBCU can match a competing offer from another company, though.

As for a physical Hall of Fame location, WWE executive Triple H said last year that WWE is not envisioning a physical HOF building with just artifacts and some history, but a grander "WWE experience" with HOF elements being part of the physical location.

I really like how WWE has shifted their brand from a low-brow form of entertainment, to something more mainstream.
