Future Rock Legends reports that Chad Channing, the drummer for Nirvana before Dave Grohl, will join the band (Krist Novoselic, Grohl and the late Kurt Cobain( when they are inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Channing was with Nirvana two years around the time they released their debut album Bleach. He was replaced by Grohl for the recording of Nevermind. Channing said he will be in Brooklyn for the ceremony but won't perform.

For example, only the original four members of Kiss are going to be inducted. Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons have decided not to perform at the ceremony because current and former members will not be included. John Rutsey, who only performed on Rush's debut album, was not inducted with the band.
