That is correct, Warner Bros. currently has eleven different DC Comics adaptations in development (two of which being Superman vs Batman and Justice League). The statement says:
Warner has now entrusted its core superheroes to “Man of Steel” director Zack Snyder, who will helm “Superman vs. Batman” and then “Justice League.” It also has nine other movies based on DC comics in development.
Currently, we know only a handful of these eleven total films. Obviously Superman vs Batman and Justice League are the first two, but Shazam, Fables, Metal Men, Sandman, and 100 Bullets are in development as well. That leaves four other mysterious projects left, and at this point it's your guess is as good as anybody's! Currently, Warner Bros. have no plans for a solo Wonder Woman film (even though Gal Gadot is signed on for a solo Wonder Woman film), which makes guessing the final four films and even greater challenge. Could a long rumored Flash film finally be in development? And are solo Superman film and Batman films apart of that plan? What about Justice League Dark? Could even an Aquaman film be apart of those four mystery films? Will the Ben Affleck and Matt Damon produced Sleepers adaption count towards those films? Only time will tell, and one can only hope much more will be revealed in the coming months. The Wall Street Journal also reconfirmed that the film and television universes will remain separate, and digital publishing has now become a major priority. What are your thoughts? What do you think are the mysterious films?
