In an update on why he hasn't confirmed he's coming to WWE, we're told he's simply showing respect to the promotion who "put him on the map".
-- Prince Devitt has finished up with New Japan and WWE has had a standing offer to him for a long time. It's still possible that Devitt could end up joining the company and it's not a "dead issue" yet.
