Four-time Women’s Champion, Mickie James has finally bitten back at her critics in WWE management saying that ‘the example being set [to young girls] is pathetic’. The comment was made as Mickie responded to a concerned fan who wrote to her on Twitter. The fan writes:

I’m really offended right now with the WWE making jokes about your weight. I really worry about girls who watch wrestling, see this kind of thing, and fall victim to hating their bodies. Because honey, if you’re not a perfect 10, I’ve never seen one. Why are they letting this charade happen?

Mickie’s response:

Awe! Thank you, sweetie. And I agree. I think the example being set is pathetic. Giving the youth a warped perception of beauty. After all… one has to love themselves first. Society makes that hard. No worries. I love myself and my body. 130 is hardly fat.

130? I'm 5'7 and weigh less than that. I do understand and agree in a way what she's saying though, as long as you're comfortable nothing else should matter but I don't think she should be making comments like this whether she disagrees or not. It could get her into trouble.

Mickie James, Maria, and Savannah beat Michelle, Layla, Beth Phoenix. I couldn't count the amount of mistakes, botches, and errors made in this match on two hands. Mickie James got the pinfall for her team.

I saw Alicia vs Melina and it was a little over 6 minutes! This may be Mel's last match for awhile and I think she left out with a bang! Crowd was hot, the ladies brought their a game. Alicia is as great as always, i wish she was feuding with Mel over Maryse but w/e. Good matchup

I loved the match. Alicia is really showing a lot of improvement in everything. I loved her submisson she did in about 4 and 1/2 minutes in. She had me entertained with her little attitude.

Melina looked amazing and I will sure miss her.

Both girls did a great job.

I agree Blue I wish they didnt drop the ball on Alicia. She would have been someone different like everyone wants.

I enjoyed the match as well and I'm glad it got some time. It's just sad that this could be Melina's last match for awhile but like you said Blue, she went out with a bang.

I seriously wish Alicia would get the belt instead of Maryse. I'd love to see Alicia/Gail go at it again, they have great chemistry as well.

my thoughts, Beths entrance was very very entertaining, this combination of Michelle and Layla work very very well, and Beth and Mickie invovled make it golden too.
Layla and Michelle werent on commentary, they were just watching from ringside.
the match was ok for what it was, but the main thing was after the match, Mickie again showed great emotion in her brawl with Layla...and LOL at Beth kicking all three asses, poor Beth marks though, as soon as she hit Michelle, i could here the YES THANK GOD SHES FACE...and then when she hit Mickie, i could here the GODDAMMIT chants

How much time did the match get? It looks like I'll be more interested in what happened AFTER the match. I guess it really is leading to a triple threat where Beth takes the belt, I'd frickin love that.

Was that on SuperStars?

i wasnt too keen on the match either but like LL said, post match was awesome.

I'm loving the brawls between these ladies. most entertaining diva feud on tv.

the match got about 2 minutes, tbh maybe even less, no sooner had the match begun, before i saw Layla distracting the ref so Michelle could try to interfere

but yeh the post stuff was fun, and i did enjoy the pre stuff too. Lay-Cool as they are now being billed are the most entertaining duo atm, there is SariTaylor, but they are entertaining IN the ring, where as Lay-Cool are entertaining all round, imo at least, they even have there own logo, so they are now a fully fledged tag team, so it seems clear that some point down the road, once the title is off McCool, that the team will have to break up at some point....but surprisingly Diva Dirt are expecting Michelle to be the one to turn face :S
