Models turning Wrestlers or Wrestlers turning Models?

Topic says it all. Which is easier, turning a model into a wrestler or turning wrestlers into a model?

It's safe to say the reason why the DS existed is because WWE is scouting for models that might turn into a wrestler ala Trish Stratus. Though they seems to be hitting their objective thanks to Maryse, Alicia, Candice( Crying or Very sad

)and Michelle. But then again, we've seen some tremendous make-over from the actual wrestlers like Jillian, Melina, Beth and the others...

So which do you think is the best route between the two? Discuss!

Trish in my opinion was an exception. She made something of her career & didn't parade around like an inmature idiot. *cough* Kelly Kelly ***

She did start out as a poor wrestler, but worked her way up.
I'm just talking about the women who come out of these "diva searches" or women who want to be wwe divas so bad & have a non wrestling background....though they model.

I guess according to WWE its turning Models into wrestlers but I like the Wrestlers into models. I like girls who can work too.

It was good back in 2002-2003 becasue the wrestling had its place and the T/A had its place. It was very seperate. It should still be that way.

Well, the WWE is an entertainment business first of all. Hot chicks are waaaayyyyyy more profitable than ugly/manly chicks. Just a common fact. And thanks to the booking, who can wrestle better doesn't mean shit. Why else would Maryse or Kelly be the center of Raw's attention? I mean we all know Michelle fucks for her spot, so explain the other blondes.

Wrestling has to many to many "models" in it. Not what real girls look like. They come in all sized not just a size 0.

Oh and to answer your question.. The problem with the WWE's route is that there isn't a balance. Very few of the models they signed have clicked in the wrestling department while a lot of the wrestlers are still ugly and are still very overrated because "they were in the Indies!". See Jillian, Melina.

I think WWE decided to go with the models turned into wrestlers because come on we all know people rather see hot girls who may or may not be good in the ring than any ugly girls in general like someone else said its a common fact. But wrestlers turned into models can happen all you have to do is pretty some girls up but i wouldn't say one is harder than the other because models have the same chance to become a wrestler and a wrestler can be turned into a model to look better at least idk

My beef is that this worked for Trish Stratus and to a lesser extent Victoria but over the years WWE were and still are trying to find another Trish and it shouldn't be like that if ya ask me

Agreed it seems that is all they care about is having another Trish. They need to make new stars and let them be their own person.

I think Melina and Mickie will have been great to replace the Trish and Lita stuff but its like they never tried as hard with M/M as they did with T/L.

I hear ya on that Janine but Mickie and Melina have loads of history, they will cross paths again soon
