Leva Bates is cool, nothing special though. Malia got a nice match out of her. I can’t believe Malia is still putting on such impressive matches after all this time. Wow.

Melanie Cruise & Annie Social vs Rachel Summerlyn & Jessica James

Jessica James is so freaking tiny lol. She’s a cutie though. I’m loving Annie Social, though.

Cat Power vs Lufisto

I think Lufisto is cute when she yells and stuff. I want her vs Hamada sometime. Fun fast paced match.

Kellie Skater vs Mercedes Martinez

Kellie Skater is a pretty good heel. She is just so damn thin. Mercedes has some awesome chops. Flair-like chops lol

Ayumi Kurihara vs Nikki Roxx

Shocking ending. Very entertaining match. I’m loving Ayumi. She’s so cute.

Misaki Ohata & Jamilia Craft vs Tomoka Nakagawa & Daizee Haze

I’m loving heel Daizee. Love her. Tomoka is pretty awesome in the ring too. Jamilia Craft is really looking better in the ring than in Volume 29. I think she’ll have a bright future.

Nicole Matthews vs Jessie McKay

Nicole Matthews’ makeup is fucked up lol looked like she had 2 black eyes. I want Jessie in WWE. Nicole seems kinda rough around the edges in her style but I still like her.

Hiroyo Matsumoto vs Sara Del Ray

I love Hiroyo’s attire. Tank will love her. I like how she pushed Del Ray lol. This match was fantastic. For a bit I thought Del Ray was gonna lose. Lol

Allison Danger vs Portia Perez: Last Woman Standing

I love this feud. One of my absolute favorite female wrestling feuds of all time. Danger is awesome in the ring. Portia is such a good heel. This match was pretty good. And omg Jennifer Blake shocking us all lol

Cheerleader Melissa vs Madison Eagles: #1 Contender’s Match

I was really looking forward to this match. Such a shocking ending lol Madison did great against Melissa. She truly deserves the title shot after what I just saw. Madison Eagles’ front tooth looked a little odd…I couldn’t help but notice it whenever she spoke. Melissa did so great. Melissa for SHIMMER Champ!!!!

MsChif vs Sarah Stock: SHIMMER title match

Mini botch on Sarah’s crossbody from the second rope. This match was good but I’m still not impressed by Sarah. Seeing her outside TNA I figured I’d finally see something to “wow” me but I didn’t. Good match though. I LOVE MsChif.

I've just got to say, just by reading the spoilers......these are IMO what looks like the BEST SHIMMER TAPING EVER. They have some awesome storylines going, girls like Jessie McKay & Nikkie Roxx are potentially entering title contention.

Heard Daizee MIGHT be injured, which sucks, from the spoilers they said she was getting AMAZING heel heat. They have some great new talent, Athena, Mia, Taylor & Mena who i hope become regulars....looks like Nikki & Portia might soon split up they have amazing single fueds going on. SHimmer is becoming awesome people. Girls like Nevaeh, Jessie Mckay are stepping their game up, heard some good reviews from their matches.

I'll post none-spoiler matches from the tapings up soon. Won't add results or surprise interviews or returns lol.

Volume 29 had Daizee vs. Misaki Ohata. When Ohata won, Daizee was upset and attached Ohata. Jamilia Craft, most recent Shimmer School graduate, came out to try to talk some sense in to Daizee. Daizee just got even more mad and attacked Craft. Since then, she has taken the whole I"m not getting the respect I deserve attitude (similar to the story with Daffney and Rachel Summerlyn). She makes a pretty good heel. I am a big Daizee fan, heel or face, she is one incredible athlete.

Yeah, I'm pretty excited. I listen to the Women of Wrestling Podcast and the most recent one was Dave Prazak talking about this taping. I ended up trying to talk my mom into going with me so I don't have to go alone. haha

I am just SO SO SO incredibly excited about the idea of possibly getting my picture taken with Cheerleader Melissa, Madison Eagles, MsChif, and all of the other incredible women.

The Shimmer tickets are really cheap. Only like $20 per day for the general admission. I am not sure if front row are a different price or not, but that I what I am going to look into getting.

i just purchased their newest DVD, The Final Chapter. It has a tribute to Jetta who is retiring Teary Eyed

i dont want Jetta to go. She's one of my SHIMMER faves.

God i hate being sick...been stuck with a stomach bug for awhile so i hadnt watched any of my new DVDs till tonight. i watched SHIMMER 31 and it was amazing. Del Ray vs Ayumi Kurihara was definitely match of the night.

The tag team division in SHIMMER's likely to heat up when the promotion runs its next weekend of DVD tapings on March 26-27. Over the last week, British mother and daughter combination Sweet Saraya (19 year veteran) and Britani Knight (18 years old), and Joshi duo Seven Star Sisters aka 3S (Hiroyo Matsumoto and Misaki Ohata) have been announced, and are expected to be pushed towards winning the Tag Team Championship from the Canadian Ninjas (Portia Perez and Nicole Matthews), who have held the title for close to two years.

Vix, you should totally try to attend the next set of tapings in the fall. I think I am going to try to go back and it'd be fun to meet up and go together. The Japanese girls work so well with the Shimmer mainstays and are SO over with the fans.

SHIMMER original Cheerleader Melissa has been crowned the new SHIMMER Champion after defeating Madison Eagles just moments ago at the SHIMMER Vol. 44 taping in Berwyn, IL.

Melissa ends Eagles’ 18 month reign as SHIMMER Champion. Eagles won the belt in April 2010.

Melissa is one of the only SHIMMER stars to be featured on every single volume of SHIMMER’s DVD series.

A huge congratulations to Melissa!
