Weekly Rundown Divas Edition

This week we had diva action on Raw, Superstars, Impact & Smackdown.

First off on Raw, this was a fun match because Gail Kim, Mickie James, Maryse & Alicia Fox was involved. Rosa once again looked like a retard, while Kelly wore basicly the same thing we see her every week. In close to nothing on. Sad part of this match was bikini involved. Jeez, save the bikini's for kelly and Rosa. Gail Kim, Mickie, Maryse & Alicia could have done just as good, minus the bikini. Then again i guess the boys deserve some sort of fun. Kelly sucked, Rosa looked retarded, Gail Kim shined, while Alicia was as solid as usual. the end came off well and this was the win Maryse needed for some time now.

Match rating?

3.5/5 Stars. (Bikini made it suck and dropped it rating)

Then we got ourselves some "Superstars" with diva action. Brie Bellla vs. katie lea burchill. Katie is ok, i've had issue's with her wrestling, i still do, she's an akward wrestler since i've seen her work. This match was boring and bland to be honest. Nothing memorable, over 1000 akward moments and semi-mess ups. Katie is not the best carriers in the biz, she doesn't blend to well with the Bella's. Very forgetable match.

Next up we have Impact. Well this was the highlight of the week. We had Allison Flash (another crappy name) and Sarita. This match was probably the best match we have seen all year on TV. These two got some time and just went with it. Sarita was fast paced while Allison was agressive and brutal. These two was just wow. I'm excited to see these two continue. With that being said, nothing to really complain about here.

Well lastly we have Smackdown. We had Eve & Natalya taking part of a 6 person tag match. Eve did ok, she used her finisher again, which is neat while Natalya was her usual brutal agressive self. Nothing to complain here either but nothing too special either.

Other stuffs:
Well we also had Layla in a segment, it was really forgetable, random and lame. Only reason they did it was because it was her home town. All those who think Layla is tweener or turning face or whatever...stop smoking the Mary J, it's not happening.

Also on Impact, Angelina needs to ditch bugs Bunny and Ho on a Pole, seriously, i don't know how they want her to be serious one week and play a bimbo the other. They need to stop making her look ridiculous. It's lame, another rather forgetable segment.

Jenna-Sharmell?? Shoot me please.

Conclusion:

As i always thought, Eve, Maryse & Alicia Fox will be big one day, they have all the tools, look impressive and are growing and improving on a steady pace. in a year or two we could see some big things for these girls.

Also Christy hemme isn't needed, just by the looks of things i see her jobbing, which ain't to bad.

Also, why is Kelly kelly still on TV and why is Rosa not Fired yet?? Same could be said about Maria for that matter.

although for me i *in my opinion* dont see how the Layla segment was forgettable, i mean if it was another like 2minute dance purely to get the crowd going, like she did in extreme expose, then yeah id find it forgettable.
but this one was different, for the pure fact that they got Ortiz involved to cut a promo and self-hype himself, and that sets up for some form of story between her and ortiz, so it wasnt random, this will be planned as something for ortiz and layla, and will be classed as the start of the build up, so i failed to see it being forgetable

Good Rundown.

I think match of the week belonged to Sarita and Alyssa Flash.

It's random because there is a tendancy of anything involving Ortiz just being cut. Remember him and Tiffany? It's forgetable because i seriously don't see anything coming of it. What is Ricky going to do? Trying to win over Layla's heart? Wasn't that done before with Jamie Noble?

It's nothing new, recycled material diffrence is, it has been done before and not long ago. It might just go nowhere to be honest. It was her home town and she turned him down. i rather see it continuouing for Ricky then for Layla. Much like Dolph Ziggler who on a weekly basic met random people backstage/in the ring, i see a similar formula going on with Ricky Ortiz.

Which is why IMO it's just a segment to show off layla in her home town and start off something new with Ricky, he'll probably do a similar segment with someon else backstage and in 1/2 months turn heel. That's it to be honest, this has 90% chance nothing to do with Layla at all.

So it's ok for you to give your opinion and go a little into detail on why you think what but now that i wanted to explain myself a little more, "i didn't have to"?

2) And i care because?? All it means is Layla needs men to go further in her career. It seems for every angle she does herself ( Eve/Kelly) she does one with men, William Regal/Noble, now Ricky

I would actually like to elborate more. So i am gay if i actually want to see an actual wrestling match and not a bunch of ho's in Bikini's. I don't mind Bikini's as long as the T&A Girls do their T&A things while the girls who wrestle....wrestle.

I like this concept, Raw and TNA definitely brought home the bacon this week. I enjoyed both matches, I have yet to see Katie Vs Brie Bella(not sure I want to now) with the reviews it has recieved. Eve and Nattie were solid as well. I got to see Layla which is always a plus.

I do agree with the Angelina comment, TNA are seriously making her into a joke and its not cute at all. Hopefully a face turn is in the works because I love her as a face.

but at that time, i was still abit rattled by deads stubbern arguements and rants about how i come after him

Angel can't be anything more than a joke because her wrestling isn't "top caliber" enough to make her a serious threat. Why else does she spend so much time on her character?


I like the concept too, so I will add to these thoughts:

Raw
- I don't see the fuss about them in bikinis. Kelly was wearing a top that she always wears (same with the bottom in most matches). Gail's usually attire is only an inch away from being deemed as bikinis. Maryse's look like something she always wears, cept without the knee pads.

The match didn't do anything for me. It wasn't bad, but that doesn't make it an classic or anything. I DO think Maryse's performance was great because it all made sense. imo

ECW
- Didn't watch or care. As always.

Superstars
- See ECW

TNA
- Couldn't watch it, but saw the Sarita vs Alissa match on Youtube. What else was people expecting when you get two kick ass wrestlers and give them a little time? THAT is how women should be wrestling on television. Fuck Tara and Angelina and those other whores. Just have Sarita, Kong and Alissa on as the only women and thing will be fine and dandy.

SD
- I agree that Layla promo was random and not needed, but I love listening to her talk. I have always maintained that out of all of the current Divas, she's the best on the mic. I am more shocked that they let her do something in her hometown that wasn't jobbing though. haha

Still don't give a damn about Eve. Still don't care about Nattie until she can get over the McCoolism. However, it was really great not seeing Melina or Michelle on SD. We got a decent match with the divas for once.

and lol, i always though layla was pretty decent on the mic, whenever she gets the chance to be on it, she pretty darn good, i epsically loved her promo on ecw over kelly

I know Nattie isnt over but I dont think shes been given a chance to be over. I think she was more over in the beginning but that all faded when she started jobbing. Hopefully she will get over again.

They should turn her face, I like to see how she will do as a face. SD needs more credible faces. The only credible face divas on SD are Melina and Eve-who is improving. And yes theres Maria, I know shes over and all but to put it nicely shes suited for the Divas Title imo.
