Jeff Hardy Contract Update

I received word today that Jeff Hardy will in fact be taking time off after SummerSlam. Sources claim that Jeff Hardy was actually surprised that WWE put the title on him because they had known at that point he was going to be leaving to "pursue other interests". We've also heard that they could be negotiating a deal where Jeff still receives some type of retainer payment for merchandising while he's off television. If they do go with this, I'm sure it would include him not appearing for other televised wrestling companies (possibly any other promotion), but Jeff is telling everyone he does not want to leave to pursue other companies. Given these new reports, it's safe to assume Hardy will be dropping the title again either at SummerSlam or between now and then.

what is the fucking point in that
can someone tell me when the last world title reign was that lasted over 3 month
why give the title to hardy, they coulda had punk beat hardy and do it again in an unfair way, again solidyfing his heel status...and then bring morrison into it to the wwe and to jeff hardy

I like to see Punk win the titlte back at SS and totally beat up Jeff in like an injury angle thingy. Then move on to John Morrison. After John gets it then Chris Jericho or Kane.

this is code for WWE saying "we want you to stay with us, so we're putting the world title on you anyway even though we know you want to leave"

and isnt punk a 3 time champ already? gosh hes gonna be the next edge

yeah, but both his world title reigns were shitted on. at least his ECW title reign was longer then a month

people usually include every world title hes won in WWE. they do it with HHH, we all know hes not a 13 time WWE or World Heavyweight Champion, hes a 13 time world champion overall

Well I like for CM Punk to win a 3rd one and keep it for a long time. I say Jericho becasue he can have it just in time for Edge to come back then Edge can win the rumble and take it at WM 26 and have it for a very long time, since hes never had a long world title run and he really deserves it.

Oh my god yes.

Now get that title back on Punk.
