Divas Division

Aside from short matches and poorly built fueds, things seem to be a lot better compared to a few years now. Although matches are still short etc, character development is given to the divas to give them a focus.

Maxine & Kaitlyn have this fued/storyline going on on NXT. Although not the focus of the overal division on Raw/SD they are getting exposure and character development.

Askana is with Teddy all the time, now fueding with Vickie and likely to have a WM moment. She is over with the crowd, good on the mic and has an intriguing character.

Rosa is with Epico/Primo, giving her exposure as the tag champs manager, also recieving a lot of credit from commentators for it too.

Tamina, although disappeared as of late was built up as a contender for the title.

Kelly and Alicia are nowhere where they belong lol.

Beth is dominating the division which is how it should be.

Eve is getting great character development as a heel, featured heavily in many segments recently and involved with top stars.

AJ Lee is the manager of Daniel Bryan and has been given the chance to speak in segments, allowing the fans to get to know her.

Natayla has the farting gimmick...Giving her screen time.

Basically every diva minus Alicia right now has a purpose and has been developed, which is good for the division because when you care about a character, you care about their match.

Kelly Kelly is WWE top diva and there poster girl.And the Bella twins are jobbers now but still get tv time.

I feel like the Divas division might be one of the most volatile in the WWE. I feel like the WWE has a favorite for a few months, then moves on to the next one. Once a girl hits 30, they've seen better days, so it'll be interesting to see how many of these divas are still around in 5 years and how they've developed.

I think Maxine, Kaitlyn, and AJ will definitely be around in 5 years, and at least 2 of them will be at the top of the division.

Eve and Kelly will definitely be around, but will be at their prime or slightly past it.

I think Beth will either be getting close to retirement or in TNA.

I don't think Nattie will be in the WWE in 5 years, I think she'll eventually get too frustrated with the company's lack of her use.

I wanna say Rosa will be around, but it'll be tough because she is already 32 and hasn't done much past manager.

I don't think Aksana will be around in 5 years, she doesn't fit that 'mold' that is usually seen in WWE.

I think Naomi will replace Alicia as the token black diva.

lol i don't know how being featured on Superstars every week is dominating the division? When was the last time Beth wrestled on Raw or SD?

The division is crap, it sucks..i've said it before...they should fire most and just stick with 6 women, have them rarely interact....and when they do....make it a catfight.

It worked in TNA, it worked in ECW....should work in WWE.

This is all old news.

Things are going to be the same for the Divas division for a while.

well back in 2003 they were getting great time but the likes of Jacqueline, Ivory, Molly etc would disappear for weeks at a time. recently they have been featuring all the girls in decent roles. we've got a WrestleMania match that actually has girls who have been in the division and properly featured. Kelly's in that WrestleMania match. Alicia has been on TV anyway even if they haven't given her much to do. i just wish they'd have actually pushed her for the title instead of Tamina

The Division currently lacks a Trish or Mickie, the centerpiece that connects so well with the fans that they'll be into whatever she's doing, and the Division can be built around her. Kelly Kelly sure as hell isn't that. She's the Torrie Wilson, and there's a reason Torrie never displaced either Trish or Mickie as the focus.

Beth is basically like Victoria. Victoria was the perfect foil for Trish, and Beth the perfect foil for Mickie. But, neither could be THE main face of the Division.

They're hoping for Aksana and Kaitlyn to develop along the lines of Trish, who their looks and builds resemble. It's worth noting that Kaitlyn, with so little experience, looked far more convincing trading blows with Beth and Nattie and breaking their holds than Kelly Kelly ever has. While, yes, the matches are scripted, you still want them to look real, and Kelly just can't manage that.

AJ, who I still suspect is Mickie's long lost kid sister, has all the tools. She can work the ring and mic. She gets her name chanted during her matches. She has charisma. She can also play both face and heel, very well.
