Jeff Hardy Arrested

Over the last few days (maybe even longer), authorities have been keeping an eye out on Jeff Hardy and his residence. There had been some suspicion that there was a drug operation going on there.
The Narcotics & Select Enforcement Units from the Moore County Sheriff's Office and the Fayetteville Police Department worked together on the investigation.
They raided Jeff Hardy's home in Cameron, North Carolina this week. Inside the home, they found various drugs and drug paraphernalia.
The following is a list of items found in his house.

  • 262 Vicodin prescription pills.
  • 180 Soma prescription pills.
  • 555 milliliters of anabolic steroid.
  • Residual amount of powder cocaine.
  • Items of drug paraphernalia.

Jeff Hardy was charged with the following violations.

  • Felony trafficking in opium.
  • Felony possession with intent to sell or deliver a Schedule III controlled substance.
  • Felony maintaining a dwelling to keep controlled substance.
  • Felony possession of cocaine.
  • Misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was released from jail after paying the $125,000 bail. Police reports stated that his brother (presumably Matt Hardy) bailed him out, but Jeff Hardy has denied those reports.

While the former World Heavyweight Champion is claiming that the stories are incorrect, the official police reports do confirm that he had those items in his home.
He might not be the one that the drugs belong to, but he is wrong for having that in his house in the first place.
There's a big difference between being busted for recreational drugs by WWE and being busted by the police department for having drugs in the house.

WWE dodged the bullet a little bit since this incident happened after Jeff Hardy officially left the company. However, it does still look bad on them because all of the media reports are linking him to their company.
Prior to this incident, it was believed that WWE would welcome Jeff Hardy back into the company with open arms once he got the sufficient time off that he was desperately seeking.
After this incident, though, it's no longer a guaranteed thing.
Sure, Vince McMahon is a person that is focused on financial gains (which is why he likes Jeff Hardy), but he also knows that his company needs to maintain proper relationships with their sponsors and partners.
Unless Jeff Hardy is completely cleared of all charges (which is probably unlikely), the chances of him returning to a WWE ring (or even TNA, for that matter) are ridiculously slim now.

The end of the world is near. WWE has released a Shockmaster action figure.

Cena Wins WWE Title

When it was announced that they were booking John Cena and Randy Orton in an I Quit match at the Breaking Point pay per view for the WWE Heavyweight Championship, it seemed pretty difficult to imagine that the title wasn't switching hands.
With WWE building up John Cena as a near invicible force over the last few years, wrestling fans had a hard time believing that the former World Heavyweight Champion was going to be uttering the word "I quit" at the pay per view.
That would have been as likely as seeing the Undertaker tapping out in a match.
So, with that in mind, the majority of wrestling fans were predicting that a screwjob ending was going to be taking place or that a title switch was going to be happening.
At the end of the night, John Cena ended up raising the WWE Heavyweight Championship over his head after getting Randy Orton to tap out.
The belt is now back in the hands of Vince McMahon's favorite wrestler. The belt that was originally designed for John Cena is back around his waist now.

There's going to be backlash towards WWE, and I'm not talking about the annual pay per view that takes place after Wrestlemania every year.
WWE is going to be receiving some negative criticism from the fans now that John Cena, one of the most hated (and one of the most popular) performers in the industry.
Despite the fact that John Cena hasn't held a title in several months now, some wrestling fans are going to start complaining that he is constantly booked as the top star in WWE.
To some, nothing that John Cena does can ever be right. Even though he isn't on the writing team, he's still going to be blamed for winning the title at Breaking Point.
Vince McMahon and his writing staff knew full well that there's going to be some backlash towards them, but this was a risk that they felt was worth taking.
Regardless of what some people think, John Cena is a legitimate main event performer, and main event performers deserve title reigns.

Unless WWE decides to pull a swerve and put the title back around the waist of Randy Orton on Raw, then they're going to have to live with the decision.
A lot of fans are going to hate it, but there's also a large amount of wrestling fans that are going to love it. Keep in mind that the younger wrestling fans have been clamoring for Randy Orton to lose the belt.
The problem that WWE faces now is that they have no choice but to keep the feud between Randy Orton and John Cena going. They don't exactly have another heel that's ready to step into that top challenger spot.
Jack Swagger and the Miz just aren't there yet. Even with their big win over DX, Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase aren't there yet either. Chris Masters might never be there.
So, that just leaves Randy Orton...again.

Bischoff Signs Hogan & Flair

Desperate times call for desperate measures.

Two of the biggest stars in the history of professional wrestling have signed on to start working again because of their respective financial woes. That's right, Ric Flair & Hulk Hogan are both going to be wrestling once again.

Flair's financial issues have been well documented over the last couple of years. Between divorces, a lavished lifestyle, and poor business decisions, the former NWA World Heavyweight Champion has been struggling with his finances. He attempted a comeback with WWE not too long ago, but the deal failed to come through.

As for Hogan, his financial issues stem from his divorce trial with his ex-wife, Linda. The former WWE Heavyweight Champion has made quite a bit of money during his lifetime, but much of that is being taken away from him.

With both legends needing money, it wasn't all that difficult for Eric Bischoff, the man who went from being a commentator to being the head of the company, to sign Hogan and Flair to long term deals (reportedly 3 years).

The two will be wrestling one another as the headline on various shows across the world (starting with Australia). Bischoff has also managed to sign some other well known wrestlers to participate on the tour as well. Mr Kennedy, Umaga, and the Nasty Boys have reportedly signed on for the tour as well. Guys like Jeff Hardy, Brian Kendrick, Paul London, Scott Hall, Rob Van Dam, and others will more than likely be contacted as well.

Angle Found Innocent

A judge has ruled that Kurt Angle is not guilty of the charges pressed against him.

On Tuesday, all of the charges against Angle was dropped. The charges stemmed from an early morning incident with former girlfriend Trenesha Biggers, who worked in TNA as a female wrestler named Rhaka Khan. Biggers refused to answer any questions after the verdict was handed out; she actually just left the courthouse immediately. Angle, on the other hand, stuck around and answered some questions for the media.

For those of you that don't know, Angle was arrested last month after Biggers filed a PFA (Protection From Abuse) against the former Olympic champion. The PFA prevented Angle from being able to go into his own home, which Biggers was living in as well.

Angle is currently back in his own home. Biggers has moved out of the residence.

Omitted From SvR 2010

The following wrestlers were omitted from the upcoming Smackdown vs Raw 2010 video game.

Raw

  • Alicia Fox
  • Chris Masters
  • Jamie Noble
  • Jillian Hall
  • Rosa Mendes

Smackdown

  • Charlie Haas
  • Curt Hawkins
  • David Hart Smith
  • Jimmy Wang Yang
  • Layla
  • Tyson Kidd

ECW

  • Abraham Washington
  • Courtney Taylor
  • DJ Gabriel
  • Hurricane Helms
  • Katie Lea Burchill
  • Sheamus
  • Tiffany
  • Tyler Reks
  • Yoshi Tatsu
  • Zack Ryder

Unfortunately for these wrestlers, they will not be receiving a royalty check for their likenesses being utilized in the video game. The wrestlers that did make the official roster will all be given a sizable amount of money.

New Hardy Action Figure

WWE has released a brand new action figure for Matt Hardy.

http://www.wweshop.com/item/matt-hardy-classic-superstars-26-action-figure/newreleases/50-05539

Embarrassing Lilian

Word has come out that WWE is hoping to embarrass Lilian Garcia before she officially departs the company.

During the match between Gail Kim and Alicia Fox on Raw last week, Garcia made the mistake of announcing that it was a triple threat match instead of being a singles match. Most wrestling fans just assumed that it was just another mistake by Garcia, who has made several noticeable mistakes throughout the years.

However, reports have surfaced that this particular incident was not a mistake on her behalf. Someone backstage set her up with the wrong information.

The belief is that the company is looking to humiliate Garcia before she leaves WWE. In the past, the company has been known to embarrass people who willingly choose to walk away from the company. WWE irritated quite a few of the wrestlers with the way they chose to humiliate former on-screen Smackdown general manager Vickie Guerrero.

Power 25 - September 19th 2009

24 - Alicia Fox
An impressive win over Gail Kim in a No. 1 Contender's Match for the Divas Championship has Alicia Fox jump onto the P25 at No. 24. Mickie James had better watch her back as Fox is hunting for gold.

22 - Michelle McCool
Michelle McCool was in action this week against her rival Melina, and unfortunately for the Women's Champion, she came up short. McCool better step it up if she doesn't want Melina taking her title.

16 - Mickie James
Watching intently on Raw, the Divas Champion got a front-row view of her No. 1 contender, as Alicia Fox defeated Gail Kim in one-on-one action. Now Mickie knows who's gunning for her gold.

Almost making the list
Melina
A win over her rival, Women's Champion Michelle McCool, impressed the right people here and might see Melina breaking onto the P25.

no i think that Bella love is genuine over there.

honestly the only Melina mark on pw who gets annoying is KinglyOne...but it's cause his schtick is always the same and never changes.

if he had some new material, he wouldnt be so bad.

I did try to recruit him back here though. shifty
