Angelina Love Released

At the Hard Justice pay per view, Angelina Love defended the TNA Knockouts Championship in a tag team match (with Beautiful People stablemate Velvet Sky as her partner) against ODB and Cody Deaner.
She ended up losing the belt to ODB as the company was looking to do a comedic storyline with the top women's belt in North America.
TNA then decided to move Angelina Love & Velvet Sky into a program where the company was crowning the first ever TNA Knockouts Tag Team Championship. The original plans had called for her to play a big part in that storyline.
Unfortunately, though, plans have been changed.
Angelina Love was released from her contract by TNA on Thursday afternoon.
The wrestling world is left in shock.

Before any rumors get started, Angelina Love was released by TNA because of issues with her work visa. Since she's a Canadian citizen, she needs that in order to legally work for the company.
Prior to this release, Angelina Love did not have any major issues with TNA and vice versa. The relationship between the two was quite mutually beneficial. TNA provided her with an opportunity, and she returned the favor by becoming a star performer.
Management is said to be more disappointed with the situation than anything else. There's not any backstage heat towards Angelina Love for the visa issue, which means that it probably was just an oversight on her behalf.
Since both sides were satisfied with the situation, the 27 year old Knockout is expected to return to TNA once the situation with her visa is resolved.

Having watched wrestling for over a quarter of a century, I can assure that you can never say never in this business. While the most likely scenario is that Angelina Love will return to TNA, there is still a slight chance that she could end up in WWE.
The moment word leaked that she was released from her contract with TNA, there were people in WWE that immediately started coming up with ideas.
Technically, Angelina Love, a former developmental wrestler for WWE, is free to sign with whatever company that she wants to.
WWE is well aware of this also, so it would not surprise anyone at all to see them putting together a contract offer that would be financially superior to what TNA can afford to pay.
The same strategy worked on Gail Kim, who basically left a division where she was a centerpiece for the financial gains that WWE provided. Since returning to the company, she has yet to receive a substantial push.
WWE basically made the move to weaken the TNA Knockouts division. The plan didn't work at all since TNA was able to keep things going with the other female performers in the company.
However, that doesn't mean that they won't try to steal Angelina Love from TNA while the window of opportunity is there.

Homicide Requests Release

TNA is at the risk of losing one of the most talented in-ring performers now that Homicide has requested a release.

The former TNA X Division Champion wants to be released from his contract and no longer wishes to work for the company. As of press time, TNA has yet to grant him a release. The company still wants to figure out a way to please Homicide to the point where he would consider staying with them.

The belief is that Homicide is upset with the company for splitting him up from Hernandez. It's a well known fact that Homicide enjoys teaming up with the big man as part of LAX. TNA decided to break up the team in order to give Hernandez a big push in the singles division.

There have been no confirmation to the rumors that Homicide is thinking about departing the company to head over to WWE. While the company has never rejected the idea of signing the former TNA World Tag Team Champion, it has never really shown a great deal of interest in him either.

Styles Comments On Move Stealing

AJ Styles finally makes an official comment about other wrestlers stealing moves.

The internet wrestling community has blasted WWE diva Michelle McCool for stealing Styles' finishing move, the Styles Clash. Granted, she had heat from fans for her backstage behavior prior to that, but she did take another wrestler's move without first discussing it with the other wrestler.

Styles, a former TNA World Heavyweight Champion, finally has made a statement about Michelle. He states that he was bothered by it at first, but he's not any more. Styles had a talk with Gail Kim, a close friend of his, about the situation. She was able to ease his mind a bit.

During the interview, Styles also discussed John Morrison.

He stated Morrison basically takes moves from other wrestlers without coming up with anything of his own. A lot of WWE fans give credit to Morrison for his moves without realizing that wrestlers in other promotions have popularized them first. Styles stated that he's seen Morrison taking some moves from Low Ki. He also pointed out that Morrison utilizes the Spiral Tap that he has had in his moveset for quite a while now.

Styles isn't upset with Morrison, though. He states that Morrison is quite athletic and does performs the move very well.

Mr. Kennedy's 90 Day Clause

The hottest free agent in professional wrestling is about to hit the market on Wednesday.

Mr Kennedy, who was released from WWE on May 29, 2009, will officially be eligible to sign with any wrestling company that he chooses to. That will be the day when his 90 day no compete clause with WWE expires. Mr Kennedy has spent the past few months making online videos to showcase his personality.

Through various interviews, Mr Kennedy has made it known that he would love to return to TNA. For marketing purposes, the company is constantly looking for well known wrestlers. Mr Kennedy is a solid in-ring performer and a superb mic worker. He could provide the company with quite a boost.

The company has recently brought in Taz, Victoria, Bobby Lashley, and Elijah Burke. Mr Kennedy (along with Umaga) will be in serious contention for a roster spot with TNA.

Chavo Guerrero's Situation

The situation involving Chavo Guerrero has become an annoyance for several different people.

Over the last few weeks, Guerrero has been booked in a program with Hornswoggle where the third generation star's character has been humiliated on a weekly basis. Management has found several different ways of having Guerrero losing to Hornswoggle.

The internet wrestling community is quite disturbed by how WWE is treating Guerrero. Some have tried to defend the company by stating that Guerrero at least still has a job. However, the majority of fans view this as a way of convincing him to leave the company.

It has also been reported that a high ranking wrestler on the Raw roster has already confronted management about the situation in defense of Guerrero.

The Women's Champion is definitely making her presence known on SmackDown. However, she may soon lose ground every week she is unable to compete.

Divas Champion Mickie James put her gold on the line against the imposing Beth Phoenix on Raw and still came out on top. This beauty is currently the Diva to beat in WWE.

and i really dont see why anyone should complain about stolen moves, esp the moves Morrison does, i dont think anyone in WWE uses many original moves.
its like saying only the dude who invented the superkick can use it.

I have read that Chavo is able to be transitioned to work with Evan Bourne so that Bourne can learn from a veteran.
