Machete vs. Predators

The only guy studios seemingly don’t order to keep his mouth shut about a future project (nobody would be game enough to order the former jailbird to keep his mouth shut!), Danny Trejo, has freely let slip that he’ll have a role in Troublemaker Studios’ “Predators”.

Yeah, I know, no surprise since Trejo has a role in near everything Robert Rodriguez has written, produced or directed (“Spy Kids”, “From Dusk Til Dawn”, “Sin City”, the upcoming “Machete”), but since he’s the first of the ‘human’ stars to be announced for the film, it’s news! Right?

The Alex Litvak-written script reportedly involves a bunch of commandos taking on the KNB-created titular creatures. Assumingly, Trejo would be playing one of the commandos – likely the token ‘gung-ho’ one; a’la Vasquez.
