Sean Waltman tells PWTorch he is alive and well. A rumor spread quickly last night that he had died, and apparently it even made it to his Wikipedia page. His current girlfriend, former WWE Diva Nidia, was contacted about the rumor, and she hadn't talked to him in a couple of days.

Even his grandmother ended up getting several calls from concerned reporters and friends trying to find out if he was okay without startling his grandmother. Within an hour or so he was tracked down and began returning calls of concerned family and friends.

He says he's in as a good of a place as he's been in a long time and no one should be worried for him, but he understands that given his history, rumors about his demise might be part of the territory.

He has spent most of the last year wrestling full time in Mexico. He also made a return to Minnesota this summer with a renewal of his late-1980s/early-1990s feud with Jerry Lynn that put both on the national map, putting on a four-star singles match in front of the hometown crowd who gave them a standing ovation afterward. Waltman's ex-wife Terri Waltman, her husband, and his son and daughter were present for the show. His kids joined him in the ring after the match.
