At Survivor Series, the smart, sexy, and powerful Divas of WWE will mix it up in a Divas Traditional Survivor Series Tag Team Elimination Match, captained on one side by ruthless Women’s Champion Michelle McCool and on the other by the dynamic Mickie James.

Mickie will lead her team, consisting of Eve Torres, Kelly Kelly, Divas Champion Melina, and Gail Kim.

While Michelle will captain Jillian Hall, Beth Phoenix, Layla and Alicia Fox.

Since coming to SmackDown as one of the feature players of a major Divas trade between WWE TV shows, Mickie has been waiting for a chance to get her hands on Michelle’s gold. But the merciless Michelle, exhibiting an instant dislike for the new arrival from day one, has shown time and time again that she will do anything she can to stay ahead of the pack.

With unrelenting aggression clashing head-on with electrifying determination, the Divas match is sure to be an explosive encounter from the opening bell. But, in a tag team match where elimination is the name of the game and every competitor must be capable of carrying their weight, which Divas will be good enough to fill the other crucial spots on each side of the trenches?

I hope its a good match. I knew it be a mix of Divas from Raw and SD. I will have liked Melina to be the other caption but its okay.

I love elimination tag matches. :D I figured this would be the teams too since Mickie didn't have anyone else on SD. I hope it's a good match and the faces win.

That is such a nice diverse group of ladies. Happy that Layla is involved, I would have thought for sure that Nattie would be chosen before her. Team HEEL FTW!

1.Lots of interesting things can happen if WWE get to using there heads. Gail Kim can accidently get Kelly eliminated or vice versa, to play up Gail's soon to be heel turn.

2.Alicia Fox can eliminate Melina to keep there title feud going, Mickie can eliminate Jillian (Person that defeated her for The Divas Championship)

3.Maryse can return and distract Eve

4.Beth/Mickie and Michelle should be the last three standing and Beth officially turns face by taking out Michelle.

I hope this is a good match too. It sounds like it would be.

Natalya shoulda been picked over Layla

Layla and Michelle are like a knott, they are the ones planning on making Mickie's life a living hell.

So having some manager be on the team over her wouldnt make sense, as far as the background story goes

All Natalya really does is manage anyway so it does make more sense for it to be Layla.

As for Layla being out first, I think that'll be Jillian.

The ending is a little unpredictable, you could have Mickie be the sole survivor to show she can beat Michelle or you could have Beth be the sole survivor to build her up more and to scare Michelle. Either way it should be good.

How much do you guys wanna bet Gail will be eliminated after like 1 minute in the match to Alicia Fox, yet Kelly will get the dramatic exit to Beth Phoenix.

i see a heel being rolled up first...either Layla or even Jillian

for the talented side id have to go with team McCool, the only person who doesnt suck on team mickie is gail.

I am so glad that this was made for the PPV. I love elimination diva matches. Last year's was a really good match so I hope for a repeat.

i really like girls like Layla and Eve havin some more PPV exposure
other then 2 BRs in Laylas case and 1 in Eves case, neither hav been on a ppv *wait Layla was in the 07 match

If there is one good thing about this match, it's that Smackdown is getting the spotlight on them with Mickie, a non champion, leading her team with the Diva's Champion as her teammate and in a secondary position. McCool and Layla's side too. The WWE is not totally ignorant as they know that Mickie is more over than anyone in WWE women's wrestling.
