This yearly tournament is held to determine which woman had the most significant year, according to her accomplishments, improvement in wrestling skills and character portrayal, and how the fans perceive her, regardless of whether or not booking favored her.

MADISON RAYNE’s 2009 Highlights:
- one-half of the inaugural Shimmer Tag Team Champions, held the titles until May 3, 2009
- competed in the finals of the TNA Knockout Tag Team tournament with Velvet Sky
- with Nevaeh, won a two out of three falls match against the IHWC to retain their Shimmer Tag Titles


BRIE BELLA’s 2009 Highlights:
- moved through all three brands: Smackdown, RAW, ECW, and back to RAW
- managed The Colons during their feud with John Morrison and The Miz before Wrestlemania
- fought Nikki Bella in a main event match on ECW, with Nikki winning
