More Details on WWE Making Changes to SmackDown & ECW

- With the record low rating for ECW this week, speculation regarding the show’s future on SyFy remain. With the current TV deal expiring soon, WWE has been working to freshen the show up to help the ratings. There was talk of a magazine style show that didn’t work out. One recent idea was to drop everything ECW related and focus the entire show on new talents from the brands.

Changes are still being discussed for the SmackDown brand but word is that there won’t be any major decisions made until after the first of 2010.

I guess I haven't notice how they have recently freshen things up. I mean outside of Ryder and Rosa acting like guido and guidette, you got the same thing you got after the draft. Christian is still the champ. Shelton is still "misused" according to his fans. Regal and his croonies are still pissing and crying over the fact that Christian is champ. Tiffany is still a butterface that shouldn't be allow to talk and have backstage close ups. Everyone else is still nobodys.

pursuing the latter would be the best thing for them but it would be wonderful if they just cancelled the show

i didnt even know they where planning on making changes to SD like what?

They can't bc the network they're on... at least not now. They edit out a lot of stuff from the recordings.

they must be real good at editing then, cos nearlly all the mathes on SD, including diva ones flow, so i can never tell what they edit

Well, I guess that's why they hire the "professionals," although there are many Joe Schmos who can do the job just as well.

yeah i suppose so. still i do applause how they can edit matches, yet make it look like they havent

i suck at that sort of graphics, if it was me, id just keep flicking to the crowd, which would be well obvious.

anyways, more onto topic, does anyone know what WWE are planning with SD, as i mentioned i didnt realize they were changing it
