Did ECW and WCW have titles for the women

yeah wcw had one here some more info right here I don't know about ecw

WCW did but ECW didnt i dont think, i dont remember ECW having one.

too bad Eric Bischoff told Alundra Blaze he'd bring back the WCW women's title if she jumped ship from WWF. She jumped, he didnt come through with his promise and her relationship with WWF/E went to hell.

I would've liked to have seen Tygress as a women's champion.

Well that was a messed up thing Eric did. I would have loved to see Jacqueline, Daffney, Paisley, Mona? as champions.

I think WCW also did a tournament for a lightweight version of a women's title. I don't remember seeing on the show much, tho. Hokuto was the best champ WCW had.

No and No; their women's rosters were not a major priority, they mainly served as managers and valets. In WCW, women DID get the Cruiserweight Championship though and that acted as a Women's title of sorts.

I think Madusa was a bit better than Daffney. I loved Daffney's gimmick though

well that wrestled and was in the ring, Madusa really never was in the ring after she came over to WCW and was told there was going to be a title for her she was only used to be in a bikini and you can tell she didnt like it.

I have seen Madusa wrestle a few matches.

According to http://www.prowrestlinghistory.com/supercards/usa/wcw/titletny.html#wcruiser97 WCW had a Women's Title, which was introduced in 1996 tournament with Akria Hokuto becoming the first champion, and my opinion the best. WCW also had a Women's Cruiserweight title tournament in 1997. This tournament consisted of women from the GAEA promotion. According to Wiki, this championship was defended twice in Japan after the tournament, but was discontinued the same year when WCW & GAEA ended their relationship.

Malia Hosaka and Meiko Satomura were in both of the tournaments.
