John Morrison Says He Didn't Know He Was In The Rumble

-- In an interview with SLAM! Wrestling, WWE star John Morrison says that he didn't know he was not advertised for the Royal Rumble match, saying, "Holy crap," Morrison said. This whole time I thought I was. I'm sure I'll be in there."

In terms of climbing to main-event status, Morrison said, "I think my path has been a slow rise, I think a lot of people rise too quickly and they find out when they get there -- I think Sheamus is going to find out -- that they haven't really earned the respect of the WWE Universe or the locker room, and they're going to end up falling flat, falling back down the card and either walk back up to the top or just fall right down and stay down."

The man is wiser than I took him to be. He definitely knows how the main event works

I agree with what he said about Sheamus, I think he got pushed too quickly. Im glad they seem to be slowly building John up. I think it will be worth it when John's hard work pays off.

I hope John makes it in the Rumble.

I want to see him as WHC sometime this year.

I'm still waiting for WWE to put Punk back on the main event track, he should STILL be World Heavyweight Champion right now-his reign was the only time I gave a damn about the belt the whole year, he was the only one who DID something with it....

didnt someone mention something about Mysterio/Punk mask v hair match?
who knows maybe we can be pleasured with Rey winning the damn title and Punk winning the Rumble, and taking that damn mask of Mysterio....and hopefully retire with shame in the process

I've always liked how WWE completely ignored the rules of lucha libre (you lose your mask, you can never wear it again) and put the mask back on him in the first place because he'd lost it previously in WCW to The Outsiders, and was without it for the rest of his time there. Hell, they ignore the time he was maskless completely on his DVD lmao How sad is that?

well no they dont care for lucha libre, cos it dont really sell well in america....hence why the AAA thing didnt work too well...or at least thats a reason.

yeah the lucha commission there is super strict when it comes to mask matches, mainly cause there's
so many of them. Silver King pissed them off when he refused to take his mask off for months after losing it

Silver King Still pisses them off but I heard a few members from the commission still like him.
