I think both men and women have very high expectations. Also, some are insecure, so, that doesn't help.

I guess you can say marraige is an outdated concept, but it depends on the couple. In this day and age... 79573

Though everyone has high expectations, i think you just find that one person who to you is perfect. If you like someone you look beyond their flaws....i'm seirous, so many people who seemed "pefrect"just turned out to be bleh when i truly got to know them.

Marraige isn't out dated i'll say, my parents dated in the 70's and 80's and didn't get married. It will always remain as special as you make it out to be. Some people believe it's just a piece of paper. While others have this whole white wedding fantasy going on in their head. It comes down to what floats your boat.

Some like celebrating wedding anniversary's, some like celebrating how many years they are together.

Do you guys think the "storybook romance" you see in movies is an accurate way to assume your lovelife will be?

I think more and more people are getting sucked into that fantasy than looking at what's really there.

I guess it depends on the type of movie and the romance.

I think most just hopes for the fairytale ending. I myself do sometimes.

But in reality...sometimes you just got to be real.

I think everyone has their ideal woman they just don't know who.

I think I've found mine though. She's a bit like Vix but I can assure you that its not as I don't know Vix.

I don't have unreal expectations. I can't speak for men, though.

Marriage isn't outdated, it's just that it isn't respected anymore. I could spit at how many marriages have fallen apart because the people didn't belong together to begin with.

calm down there killer.

Yes, movies and all that romanticize 'love' but it's a lot easier when one doesn't take relationships seriously.

I'm a realist, and I realize that half of marriages don't work.... I don't want a coin flip to decide whether or not I lose half my shit.

I sure as hell wouldn't.

yeah, but there's ways around those.

that and marriage kills the excitement of a relationship.

There's only so many different schoolgirl, genie, and angel costumes in the world.

this quote reminded me of serial

"the only reason you need a wife is if you have some sick compulsion to give away half your stuff."
