How Confident are you in Yourself?

i'm not very confident at all. i have low self-esteem basically. I always have ever since middle school.

I'm a little confident, but no where near as much as I may act on here.

Over the last 5 years i've grown into my own. I still have my doubts in my looks but as an overall person i've become very confident in myself. I try to find positives everytime and it works. All you have to do is find something you like about yourself and then build off of that.

It is a hard prosess, most my teenage years i've struggled with it.....but in time you have to teach yourself to do so. Because you are as good as you make yourself to be, you just have to believe it yourself.

I'm really sorry to hear you were picked on. i was picked on from 7 to 15, so i could relate to you a bit. Being gay and not knowing it yourself, plays a huge part in picking on you for it, yet struggling with it yourself.

I was picked on as well but mostly because i was taller and skinnier than everyone.

but my low self-esteem is due to some trauma i went through as a child. I never got the psychological help that i should've so i learned to hate myself. and i still do hate myself.

Wow, sorry to hear that girls. Though i've managed to overcome mine, i hope you all do to. it is very dificult to get over these things.

i've been suicidal, i resorted to cutting, wanted to run away, but i've overcome it all. Maybe i might need some extra help, but thus far i've managed to move on and try to mak myself happy.

I've been suicidal. I ended up spending 1 week in a hospital in my last attempt. If i had gotten there a 2nd later i migh tnot've made it.

but that is when i discovered i had an older brother on my dad's side and he decided to take care of me and look out for me.

i still have no confidence though. you see all the hot girls with model-like bodies and big boobs and i just sit there praying the ground will come up and swallow me whole. It hurts worse the few times i have tried to approach a girl or guy that I like and they laugh in my face.

then there's my mom telling me how much of a failure I am. I break into crying fits often at the oddest times. Mostly because i bury all the hate i feel deep inside and act as if everything is ok. People have no idea what I'm feeling inside.

I been suicidal too. I have been seeing a theripist ever since 2002.

I agree with Vix, I see girls who are prettier then me, even WWE Divas and it makes me sick that I cant look like that and I feel I have to to get a boyfriend and to be sucessful.

Im 28 years old I havent had that many boyfriends, The relatlionships I do have turn into failures and the 2 guys I dated in Highschool use me to date my sister who is much more pretttier then me. I think My parents think shes better then me becasue shes prettier. They always say how beautiful she is but they never say that about me.

Im also jealous becasue my sister has all these guys going for her and I feel no good guy will date me.

Thats a reason I dislike the certain WWE divas that I do dislike. I thought I admit that, as long as its not thrown in my face, I trust yall.

I think its messed up how the media portrays pretty as being stick thin and tall with big tits, when everyone is different.
