Friday Night Mayhem Week 3 (Yep, its back!!!)

Friday Night Mayhem opens with a bang of fireworks, followed by the music of LayCool, who are soon shown walking down the ramp, with the music cut short.

Vickie: Excuse me! Ladies and gentlemen....Excuse me! EXCUSE ME!

The crowd gives Vickie tremendous heat, giving her you suck chants.

Vickie: Ladies and gentlemen...Boys and girls...Those people no one cares about. May I introduce you to the next women’s tag team champions, Michelle McCool and Layla!

They all get in the ring, and Michelle grabs a mic.

Michelle: Listen people. You better start showing us some respect, because we are the best that this company has to offer. No...We are the best the world has to offer. We are simply flawless in every way. But as for our opponents tonight...They are going to be 100 percent flawed after we are finished with them.

TAG TEAM CONTENDERSHIP MATCH: RED BOMBSHELLS VS LAYCOOL
Layla starts off in the ring, facing off against Maria. Layla quickly moves in and slaps Maria, who shakes her head, not liking Layla’c cockiness one bit. Layla begins taunting the crowd, but Maria comes from behind with a rollup, but only gets a 2 count! Maria locks in a headlock, and hits a snapmare takedown on Layla to the mat, still applying the headlock. Layla quickly gets back to her feet, elbowing her way out of the hold, and kicking Maria in the shoulder. She goes for a kick to Maria’s head, but Maria moves and hits a dropkick! Layla escapes the ring, which leads Maria to follow, leading her to chasing Layla. As she turns a corner however, Michelle delivers a powerful boot to Maria’s head! She throws Maria back into the ring, and Layla goes for the count, but only gets a late 2 count. Layla is heard yelling “are you kidding me!” before she applys a cross arm bar. The fans cheer on Maria, who gets to her feet, and twists her body, flipping Layla onto the mat. She reaches over and gets the hot tag on Christy, who comes in and hits a diving crossbody on Layla, followed by a clothesline, and a dropkick. She goes for a neckbreaker, but McCool comes in and kicks Christy in the side of the head!

Layla quickly tags in Michelle, who picks Christy up and sets up the Faithbreaker. However as she lifts her up, Maria dropkicks Michelle in the head, sending her to the ground, with Christy sitting on her and pinning her for the 3 count as Layla is knocked off the apron!
Winners: Red Bombshells.

Red Bombshells quickly exit the ring, celebrating their huge victory, and advancement to the semi-finals in the tournament, giving them a tag championship title shot at the PPV. Laycool looks on in complete surprise, with Michelle looking rather frustrated.

BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
The Un Americanz (Angelina and Maryse) are shown being interviewed.

Interviewer: What are your thoughts on the Red Bombshells making it to the semi finals?

Angelina: What? Those twigs actually won their match? Wow...Wow...I guess Laycool forgot to use the fire extinguisher on their burning hair.

Maryse: Ahahaha, but it doesn’t matter. Having them win their match just makes beating them that much less of a challenge. Whether its next week, or at the PPV, we will enjoy extinguishing their hopes and dreams of gold.

Angelina: It must be an American thing...You know? They dye their hair such a filfy color for one. I think the fire brigade is looking for you two betches!

The two walk off laughing, leaving the interviewer looking stunned.

GM’S OFFICE
Lita is shown, and she announces that for the Tara vs Savannah no DQ match up next, outside interference is banned, strictly to keep the match in place.

NO DISQUALIFICIATION: TARA VS SAVANNAH
The match begins with Tara pushing Savannah to the ground, followed by a smirk. Savannah lifts her legs up, locking Tara in a choke, before swinging around, sending Tara flying across the ring! Savannah runs at Tara in the corner, but Tara lifts her over the rope, but Savannah holds on. Savannah tries to jump up, but Victoria delivers a huge boot, sending Savannah to the hard mat outside. The ref goes outside to check on Savannah, who is in pain, and bleeding from the nose. Tara exits and pushes the referee out of the way, and whips Savannah into the barricade, then follows up by throwing her into the turnbuckle steps! Pulling Savannah into the ring, she begins choking her against the middle rope, and Savannah begins tapping out, unable to withstand anymore punishment.
Winner: Tara.

Tara exits the ring as Gail runs down to check on her partner for next week. Tara runs back in the ring behind Gail, and kicks her in the back of the head, knocking Gail out. Tara taunts the crowd, receiving huge boos.

BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
Beth is shown warming up for her match, when Natalya approaches and stares Beth down. The two nod at each other, showing mutual respect. Beth hopes to face Natalya at Breaking Point for the championship, and Natalya feels the same.

UN AMERICANZ VS MICKIE AND MELINA
Mickie gets the early advantage for her team, applying a headlock to Maryse before throwing her to the ground. Maryse quickly gets back up, and the two stare each other down. Mickie runs at Maryse, but she throws Mickie out of the ring, with Mickie crashing hard into the mat. Melina goes to check on her, distracting the referee, allowing Angelina to throw her into the barricade, then back into the ring. Maryse goes for a pin, but only gets a 2-count. The crowd chants for Mickie, and Melina is looking for the hot-tag, but Maryse pulls Mickie back. Mickie hits an elbow on Maryse, and crashes her head into the turnbuckle. She then hits the Mick-a-rana from the turnbuckle! She mounts some offence, hitting a lou thesz press on Maryse, but Angelina breaks up the pin attempt. Maryse goes for a clothesline, but Mickie ducks, and hits a neck breaker! Both divas are on the mat, as Mickie tries to get to her corner. Maryse tags in Angelina, and Mickie tries tagging Melina, but Melina backs off, and walks out on Mickie, receiving boos from the crowd, as a confused Mickie looks on. Mickie gets to her feet, but turns around to receive a bicycle kick from Angelina, and its over!
Winners: Un Americanz.

It is announced by Lita that Melina will have to explain her recent actions next week on Friday Night Mayhem. She also announces that Savannah has a broken jaw, and will be out for a few months. Therefore next weeks tag match will be Gail against the Un Americanz.

BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
Katie and Daffney are shown in a dark room talking. The two are plotting something, but it isn’t revealed exactly what they are plotting. They do say “Soon....” though.

WORLD TITLE CONTENDERSHIP: BETH VS SERENA
Serena kicks Beth to start off the match, but is pushed to the mat! Serena escapes the ring, leading to Beth following. Serena gets back in, and as Beth does, she begins kicking her aggressively. She slams Beth’s head into the ropes, and begins choking her on the ropes till a 4 count. Serena taunts the crowd, as she picks Beth up and whips her into the turnbuckle. Serena charges at Beth and thrusts her in the gut. She begins smirking, as she chops at Beth’s ankle, sending her to the ground. She begins applying a leg hold on the ropes to Beth’s ankle, and stomping on it, but the ref soon breaks it up. Serena goes back for more, but Beth pushes her away and then hits a slingshot suplex! Beth regains some momentum, hitting an elbow attack, followed by a clothesline. Beth picks Serena up and then hits a military press, but Serena quickly rolls out of the ring. Beth grabs her by the hair, but Serena jumps down, slamming Beth’s neck into the ring ropes! She re enters the ring, and pins Beth, but only gets a 2 count! She begins yelling at the ref, but it does no use. Serena picks her up, and tries lifting Beth for the GTS, but Beth is too powerful and pushes her off. However Serena dropkicks Beth in the knee, sending her back to the mat. Serena taunts the crowd, but all of a sudden Jillian begins walking down the ramp, directing her attention towards Serena! Serena looks on in shock, unable to believe her eyes, allowing Beth to hit the Glam Slam, for the win!
Winner: Beth Phoenix.

Opening match was pretty blech! The red heads are so baaaaaaaaaaad and seeing them owning Laycool like that is not good, and wtf? Why didn’t Hemme go for the FFG? Ugh!

poor thing, I must say that I love how you have her as the ultimate underdog, she is sweet and innocent but keeps coming up short, that’s how you book a underdog, love it. Wow Tara is ruthless as fuck, oh my damn. Kicking Gail in the head was not cool.

I totally forgot that Melina was acting like a heel, I was caught off guard when she walked away from Mickie, I was like “wtf” lol you shocked me, then I remembered her past few weeks and it came back to me. Nice to see both tag teams winning their matches headed into the PPV, great booking.

Poor Savannah, a few months out of action? Boo!

I wonder what those sneaky bitches are up to (Daffney + Katie Lea)

Main Event was a bit meh, it could be that I’m tired though, the ending was odd, Jillian walked out and then Serena lost to Beth, then what? Did Jillian seek revenge on Serena? WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED? What an odd finish lol
