Honorable mentions: Felicity Huffman, Desperate Housewives, Julia Louis-Dreyfu for The New Adventures of Old Christine, Debra Messing for Will & Grace, Tina Fey for 30 Rock & Patricia Heaton for Everybody Loves Raymond.

I could have done without the win for SJP & JA, because i think both shows and both actresses are overhyped. Maybe in 2002 they could have given it to Jane Maczmarek for Malcolm In The Middle instead of Jennifer Aniston and in 2004 to Bonnie Hunt, for Life With Bonnie instead of SJP.

And nothing against America Ferrera, but would have prefered Mary Louis-Parker win it that year for weeds instead of her. It amazes me that Mary Louis Parker won a Golden Globe (or two, not sure) and have yet to win the EMmy.

Two actresses who did go uncredited in this Category are Faith Ford & Kelly Ripa for Hope & Faith. I think a nomination for either lady would have been nice to see.

I have watched or at least know a lot about all of the actresses who have won so this is kinda hard!

I vote for SJP because I have seen SITS the most [well tied with Friends I guess]. She is my least favorite woman from their but I was glad she won that year.

My other choice would go to Jennifer Aniston and Julia Louis-Dreyfus.

I want to watch The United States of Tara [liked the pilot] but I have to wait a while.

And yeah I really wish Mary Louise Parker would have won an Emmy for Weeds. I love that show!
