EXCLUSIVE: Top TNA Player Offered Money By Wilpon Group?

After speaking with several sources in TNA, I was told that a top TNA player is telling people close to him that The Wilpon Group has offered him $40,000 to work for the rumored upstart promotion.

However, the general feeling amongst all the sources I have spoken with is that the TNA player in question is bluffing, and that no money has actually been given to him from The Wilpons.

I was told the TNA player in question, whose name I am not revealing at this time, is making the money claim in order to cover his bases and to express interest in the Wilpon wrestling promotion if it actually comes to fruition. If the company doesn't end up lifting off the ground, then the TNA player can simply keep working for TNA.
