Last week Melina defeated Jillian to retain her title. Afterwards LayCool showed up on the tron and told Melina they will be at the 900th show and have an offer for her. What does LayCool have in store for Melina and will Melina accept?

I think it's obvious there will be some type of match between them at NOC but it's hard telling if both belts will be on the line. Alicia still hasn't gotten her rematch and I hate the way they've treated her so I hope she gets in the match somehow.

I hope LayCool want a title v Title match or they make Melina find a partner and that partner be Beth thats if she returns in time. I will like to see Alicia get her rematch too, hopefully after Melina retains she can get it then.

I hope LayCool dont bury Melina in this feud too.

^I didnt say Melina was but yeah there are others who were like Mickie James and Kelly. I still think if Beth didnt get hurt she was going to be another one. Thats what I meant.

The women's title has a richer traditional... it's not going anywhere.

It isn't as meaningful as it once was, but it isn't going anywhere because of it's history.

Why would they let that title go to fucus on that other piece of shit?

Michelle hasnt....and even if she had, she aint the only diva to do so

and the womens title wont be merged just yet, if anything i see one of two things happening

either Beth returns in time, and wins the womens title from Layla in a tag match

or Beth doesnt return and Michelle pins Melina winning the divas title, allowing LayCool to have all the gold

Same reason Vince made new tag titles he is trying to push the titles to sell them on wwe.com The Womens title history is old now where all the people who would of bought a women's title would have that one so them breaking it is I think is possibly a way to get rid of it totally or make a new title eventually to market.

If I were Alicia, I'd be pissed. Eve got an infinite amount of title rematches, in fact Alicia spent most of her reign facing her for the belt; yet she never got a reshot and now they're about to unite both titles with the belts either going to the chick who buried her or the other chick who buries everyone.

So, no matter who wins on NOC, she'll never see that belt again without a burial.

Layla is about to job that poor belt out.

So they're unifying the belts at NOC. If Melina is facing Michelle then Michelle is winning. Michelle always has to be the first to win everything, first divas champ, first to hold both the divas and women's titles and now she needs to add first woman to unify the belts to the list.

I could possibly see Melina facing Layla with Melina winning and Michelle getting mad at Layla then they split up.

NOC i see the match beginning with McCool on the apron getting involved, Kelly or Eve pull her down and then all the lumberjills attack McCool...then Layla runs at Melina, misses a clothesline, Melina hits the last call and wins...winner in 12 seconds...and succesffully burying her second diva in a month MELINA

I agree with you that they're trying to sell more titles, but I think they're going to do what they did with the tag titles and create a new belt. The butterfly belt gets made fun of by everyone, so they probably made a new design and whoever wins at NOC will be rewarded the new belt.

Michelle buries everyone, in fact, I think the reason she's so skinny is that she gave up on normal food and consumes nothing but the careers of divas unlucky enough to get signed on Smackdown.

Since coming back, Melina has been on a straight burial run. The only diva to really get in any offense was Jillian and even she went six feet under.

Lauren i do respect you a lot. but Michelle has never buried anyone she has faced! She has dominated, she has beaten..but not once has she had a fued so one sided that her opponents where made to look as weak as sin!

her and Dawn traded victories, as did her and victoria/maryse/gail *til the draft* same with Melina.
her fued with Mickie was different....she got a lot of talk in but Mickie always shot it down by beating on Layla...and ended up getting her comupance.

Lol, yes LL, Layla was really made to look weak yet Melina only won with a ROLLUP. If anything, that made Layla look stronger since Melina didn't win with her finisher and had to resort to a frickin rollup.

And the feuds Michelle has had she has dominated the majority of them and then got the win. The "feuds" you brought up with Melina were what, 2 weeks? That was the stupid booking rushing things.

Yet you wonder why I bring Michelle into it, because you can't simply say something about Melina unless you're going to say something about Michelle as well since they are linked when it comes to being on top a lot.

and no Mintz....if the match had lasted about 5 minutes and she could only win with a rollup then yes Layla would look stronger....but if Layla lost after being in the ring for 8 seconds...then she is gonna look weak as shit..as she cant kick out after wrestling for 10 seconds.

and i dont know what your remembering with McCools fueds....McCool didnt come out ontop against Dawn..i dont think she came out on top against Victoria (as there was no real pay off match)...and if she did..it was because she was a face...and faces always come out on top 80% of the time. She didnt come out on top against Maryse...she lost to Maryse. and im not getting started on Melina/McCool again.

To me, Michelle does bury the women's division of Smackdown. Michelle always comes out on top, even now as a heel, she comes out on top. It's almost impossible to invest in any feud she's in because we know she's going to be the victor in the end. This is highly annoying now that she's a heel, no fan likes investing in a feud only to see the heel become the victor in the end; they tried that shit with Booker T and HHH and fans are still bitter about it. I have little to no hope that any diva signed on Smackdown will step and become the top wrestler of the Smackdown women's division; mostly because the division revolves around Michelle. When Layla won the title, a lot of people thought that Michelle was finally stepping out of the spotlight and allowing someone else to shine for a change, instead they pull this co-champions mess and Michelle is still in the spotlight. Even now most people don't think of Layla as the champion, but Michelle.

As you said, she dominates most of her feuds and every now and then her opponent gets a victory...but the fact that comes out on top in almost every single last feud when her character is clearly in the wrong and MUST be punished for a sucessful payoff, is the reason why I say she buries everyone.

She's lucky she's married to taker, had she not been married to him she would've never had the chance to bury anyone, she would've been the Jillian Hall of Smackdown before finally being released*

It isn't really her fault. Mickie was injured and WWE needed to continue the Beth/Michelle fued, so they decided to use it to their advantage and bring Vickie in to screw Mickie to get Laycool more heat. Beth then would've held the title a while, but she got injured and Laycool were the only credible people to win the championship on Smackdown.

I seriously don't like this unification match...Well on one hand I like it cuz Maryse, Eve, Kelly etc won't get the title. On the other, Gail, Jillian etc won't get it either. It will revolve around Michelle, Beth, Melina for the course of the years, like the Womens title revolved around Melina, Mickie, Beth with the odd win from Candice from 2006-2009.

If Melina wins, then she would've won two titles two months into her return, and 2 titles in a 2 month span....Not cool. That would make her a 4 time womens champion, and a 2 time divas champion. If McCool wins, she will become a 2 time divas champion, 2 time womens champion. If way to look at this, I don't want either of them to win. TBH Gail should be the one to unify the titles. The division would be better without the two of these bitches tbh. The division only needs Beth, Nattie, Gail & Jillian in the title scene, the rest can fuck off.

Guys, the Divas aren't REALLY worth that waste of time-they only get five minutes of tv time for got's sake lol Neither of them are great...AT ALL. They both bury, they both advance their careers over others, it's just how it goes, nature of the beast.

I didn't see where Melina was crying, she just made one of her lovely facial expressions when LayCool mentioned it. I also thought she was good on the mic. They need to let all the women talk more.

from 1990-1993 there was no title

From 1995-1998 there was no title

Half it's history really is that Moolah held belt for long peroids of times cause no one was close to her.

Her title reigns actually end up in total of being 10,000 days as champion

next close person is 800 by trish stratus.

Plus that the title going because it was broke and the diva title ain't broken apart.

Vince already made it clear it's never been about history of the titles look at the tag team titles. He wants to elminate a title to make more money off the diva title just like the new tag titles were made. It's all about money my guess is getting rid of the women title will allow them to sell more diva title replicas his people figure as people won't want to own outdated title belt that people won't remember. Probably why the titles he changes the look so much to them.

I'd like them to do what they did with the tag titles and make a new title. Both histories are still maintained.
