| One word explanation why Edward Norton won't be reprising his role as Bruce Banner in "The Avengers  " : Money.Either he wanted more, or Marvel (in particular Kevin Feige) wanted to pay less.Either way, it didn't work out - and now indie-staple Mark Ruffalo's filling the soon-to-be-ripped purple shorts. He joins superstars Robert Downey Jr , Samuel L.Jackson, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, and Clark Gregg for the Joss Whedon-directed blockbuster, lensing Feb 2011.As good as Ruffalo is, it's saddening that Norton won't be back. I truly believe he was the best Hulk since Bill Bixby - and I know a lot of you agree.Still, Norton's not being all pissy about the situation - he's being very diplomatic. In a new interview with MTV, the "Stone" star says it's all business. | |
