thoughts this week

Night of Champions - Michelle McCool vs Melina (Title unification match):
well i liked it anyway, i love watching these two wrestle. nice little callback to last year's match with Melina dodging the dropkick this time. i think we definitely do have too many faces in the division now as evidenced by the fact that nobody attacked Melina when she left the ring. i was kinda hoping for some sort of Layla face turn but good for Michelle to unify the titles. hopefully we'll have a stronger division now that Melina's out of the picture.

Raw - Melina vs Layla* (Divas' title match):
as i said before Melina just doesn't have it anymore, whether she's too reluctant or she hasn't got the ability, she's not the great wrestler she used to be. the tensions between her and McCool were well done with a nice chase around the ring. i loved Layla's finisher though i can see WWE telling her it's too high risk

Eve & R-Truth vs Maryse & Ted DiBiase:
well it's wrestling this week though it could have gotten more time if they didn't waste all the air time with that overlong replay of last week. Eve is welcome on my screen any time so how about renewing her old beef with McCool? they always had great matches

NXT - Maxine vs AJ:
well at least Maxine has different attire now. match was ok and AJ is looking better every week, i liked CM Punk on commentary, i think he's found his old age back up job at least. too bad the ending was botched but these girls need to get themselves proper finishers.

Naomi, Kelly Kelly and Jamie vs Kaitlyn and LayCool:
congratulations Kelly, i believe you're the first person to ever botch an arm lock on national TV. i loved Kaitlyn's spear though the Jamie-Layla interaction was too long and Jamie needed to hit her already. good that Naomi is back wrestling though like AJ and Maxine, she needs a frickin finisher.

Impact - Taylor Wilde and Hamada* vs Velvet Sky and Lacey von Eric (KO Tag titles match):
not half bad anyway but Lacey is just awful at trying to lead a match, she can do some good moves but she needs a lot more training. i'm pleased with all this extra time the Knockouts have been getting lately, there's still hope for them to be built back up to as good as they used to be.

LMFAO at the Kelly bit, so true.

AJ has a finisher, however I guess she doesn't use it because the rookies would botch it somehow.
