Jeff Hardy to Plead Guilty on Drug Charges

CARTHAGE - Jeff Hardy, a professional wrestler from Cameron who was arrested last year on drug charges, plans to plead guilty in court next month, according to the Moore County district attorney.

Moore County deputies raided Hardy's home in September 2009 after Fayetteville police received a tip about drug use there.

Lawmen found about 262 doses of Vicodin, a prescription painkiller, 180 Soma prescription pills, 55 milliliters of anabolic steroids, a residual amount of powder cocaine and drug paraphernalia. He faces several drug charges.

Hardy, 33, is the current world champion of Total Nonstop Action Wrestling on the Spike TV cable channel.

Why would he drop the belt? TNA will just use this to further his anti christ gimmick and give him more heat.

why would you have a known, convicted drug addict as your world champion? in WWE....if he was the world champion and he was on drug charges...his ass woulda been fucking suspended or fired by now

Funniest thing TNA and in wrestling general was putting a drug addict like Hardy as a main eventer. Whoever thought Hardy would make TNA better is probably the stupidest shit alive.

Hopefully he'll get jail time and get his act together.

I wonder if they're going to release the details of the plea agreement.

I hope he only gets probation. I know, I know but I feel like he only hurt himself and has learned a lesson. He's otherwise an upstanding citizen unlike the criminals killing/raping and getting out of our revolving door prison system. Spend the money incarcerating them. Besides, I know for A FACT, Jeff's stash puts other WWE wrestlers stash to shame.


Also many wrestlers supply to each other so let's not throw Hardy under the bus for this because if we did many of your faves would be right next to him.
