According to what I've heard, many of the 14 that will be announced are going to be DLC.

The names already announced are in the game, including some as un-lockable characters.

You can have up to three announced names, but only the usual call names listed above for commentators during match. For example you can have Jack 'The Animal' Michaels.

The tweet is new but the message isn't.

Still if they add The Bellas and Alicia that is still a lot less divas then the previous years so in the end it is a downgrade when it should not have been...

Now if they add Kharma in addition to the Bellas/Alicia then that will make up for a lot since they did get rid of Melina and Gail who both should and certainly could have made it into the game...

I read yesterday that exhibition mode will be separate from universe this year.

Plus, there are going to be 23 or more championships in this year. Cory Ledesma says he's not going to say which championships those are.

I guess they are going to have basically all the things from the past for legends [Classic IC/Attitude WWF title etc].

From what I've seen of the new people it was okay but nothing great.

Some of the animations looked like they did the annoying cut screen or something like they almost teleported into the right spot.

Idk it just didn't look great to me. :-/

A THQ employee on Twitter has confirmed that Divas Rosa Mendes and Tamina will not be part of the upcoming WWE ’12 video game, either on the main roster or as downloadable content.

Responding to fans on Twitter, @THQ_Tank responded to a question about Rosa being in the game: “Rosa Mendes is not in the game this year, she is a @WWE beautiful diva, we’ll see for next year.”

Later responding to a question about Tamina and the Usos, he said: “No, apologies.”

THQ previously confirmed that more Divas will be available as downloadable content. It looks like that’ll include Alicia Fox and the Bella Twins.

So Rosa, Tamina, Gail, Melina are all confirmed NOT to be in the game.

Since there is 14 spots left and we already have like 12 legends, I expect AT LEAST 7 divas to make the roster credible.

Alicia Fox- Her not making it would be a huge laugh

Brie Bella- See Above

Nikki- See Above

Trish Stratus- Confirmed

Vickie Guerrero- was active before wrestlemania in the ring (maybe even manager only)

Kaitlyn- Basically a shoe in, was competing with Laycool on SD

AJ- Basically confirmed

Possibly another NXT Diva- Naomi was in final 3 (remember final 3 nxt made it last year but nobody else)

A diva legend- There were rumors of Mae Young (please no!), but I'm really hoping its Lita! Why does Trish get in all the time but not her?

Kharma- She made such a big impact, she was bound to get in for the same reasons sin Cara did. They've done this before with Khali despite him wrestling one match before cutoff.

Vickie will likely be in but as a NPC so would she even take up a spot of the 14?

If the 5 I said make it along with the 7 already confirmed it will not be a complete loss. Although I really hate how Melina/Gail, who are two of the better divas of the past couple years, failed to secure spots in this game when usually people released/quit this late in the year are locks..

From what I've seen, it looks like HBK, Goldberg & Andre the Giant are going to be in.

I've read plenty of tweets from THQ_Tank saying there will be more divas in the game. Some websites think they're going to be DLC.

Why they never add Savannah Georgia as hometown is beyond me, I mean, it's not like it's an important city or anything; you know a city that's been around since the 13 original fucking colonies and was given as a gift to President Lincoln while Atlanta was still on fire...noo, Savannah's not important at all. Still, I don't know if I'm going to get this or not; my Xbox is still broke, I'm broke, and each year they make it a little less fun to play with a female character and I use to LIVE for kicking the wrestlers that annoyed me asses with my female character.

Well that is great if you by his track record of providing good info.

I agree that taking Kharma out is stupid because the game will be the newest WWE game until WWE 13 next year and Kharma is suppose to be back next year like June.

That leaves 4-6 months that she would be back in wwe and likely being the focus of the divas division again..

It is just stupid but then again Vince makes some stupid decisions..

But who is the question mark if it is not Kharma, Rosa, or Tamina?

The only women I can think of would be Vickie [1st], Stephanie [idk why], and a big shocker that should make a lot of diva fans happy [Lita; again I've said it doesn't make much sense but then again RVD got in and his ass was in TNA..]..

You didn't miss anything last year.

The Universe mode completely ruined it for me. Repetitive cut-scenes before, during and after matches. If you wanted to simulate a few weeks or months, chances are whoever you wanted to be the current title holder would drop the belt. Tag teams and stables were disbanded. No real control whatsoever.

They say they've fixed that for this year. You can defend the titles in exhibition mode again, as you weren't able to last year unless you were a dual champion (with one title being a defunct championship; e.g. ECW or WCW)

The visual and audio presentation has been vastly improved. The character models look even better this year. You can interrupt moves. Crawl to the ropes with certain submissions. They say they've made blood look better.

I read yesterday that this year's R2WM is one story line which you use multiple characters at different intervals. This doesn't sound too great, but I've been really impressed with videos and screenshots I've seen.
