Breaking **SPOILER**: New TNA World Champion

Sting just defeated Jeff Hardy to win the TNA World title at the iMPACT! tapings in Fayetteville, North Carolina. This show will air on March 3rd, 2011.

Sting wore a new outfit with red sequins and returned to his old-school look. In what was described as a decent match, Sting hit the Scorpion Death Drop and scored the clean pin. Sting got a huge pop when he returned. The first time Sting went for the Scorpion Death Drop, Hardy got to the ropes. Hardy was in control until Sting hit three Scorpion Death Drops in a row, including one from the top rope for the win.

We'll have more soon but it sounds to me like TNA knew they needed to get the title off Jeff Hardy due to his ongoing legal issues. The last we heard was that Jeff Hardy and his lawyer did not approve of the plea deal they were offered, thus why his lawyer called in "sick" to give them more time.

I can live with that.

Morgan's decent on the mic, he's a damn good wrestler, the fans love him, he's credible wrestler, and yet he constantly gets shitted on. They're truly letting a great talent go to waste. I feel bad for him cause there's not anywhere else he can go and truly be allowed to shine, I know wwe wouldn't use him right, so he's stuck with this shitty company.

Yup! They've done everything right with him except put the title on him. I think he's ready for reasons you stated:

~charisma
~in-ring ability
~good mic worker
~enough credibility

Seems like the longer they wait, his chances of winning decrease because he'll only get older, lose momentum, and waste away as guys past their prime & WWE ex-wrestlers continue getting the damn belt.

We all just got to accept TNA is just a parody, nothing to take seriously. It's not a real deal promotion. They know that. But most of the fans don't get it haha
