Here's this weeks great hour numbers and comments by Melzter on them for this week's Raw:

The Taker opening promo got a 3.91 rating. The Orton-Nexus brawl and Orton v Otunga match gained 71,000 viewers, which is good. Christian v Clay and Sunny HOF vid gained 219,000 viewers.I'd credit that to the Sunny Vid as that was something nobody would turn the channel during. Plus it did a 5.2 among teenage boys which blew away everything else on the show except the Austin segment, and no way thats to see Christian v Clay.

Eve v Nikki Bella lost 610,000 viewers(5.2 to 4.2 among those teenage boys turning it off). That's bad no matter what time of the show. The JBL/Cole/Austin segment gained a huge 961,000 viewers to a 4.46 rating, which is the best quarter hr. rating in a long time.

Bryan v Sheamus lost a huge 1,102,000 viewers, which is the largest # of viewers tuning out of a segment on any show we've monitored in years and years. Its totally clear this audience came to see Austin and once they saw him they left, only to come back for the Cena segment.

They may even have thought Austin(or Rock) would come out for the Cena segment which was why it did good numbers. Punk v Truth and HBK promo and Vickie interview lost 119,000 viewers. Morrison v Ziggler lost 43,000 viewers.

The Cena closing promo and overrun w/Miz gained 965,000 viewers. Since they already said Miz wasn't gonna be there, the ratings for it could have been people thinking Austin was gonna come out once more or maybe they just wanted to hear what Cena had to say but either way it did a 4.25 overrun which is a good # for the overrun.
