My family has been betrayed in the BIGGEST way ever. My dad and this guy has been neighbors for almost 25 years now. Even after we moved, we ended up living like 5 houses apart. My dad is even godson to his youngest son. When his son was born and my dad became his godfather, his mother gave my dad like 10 aruban guilders. (about 6 dollars), my dad invested it and made a life insurance for him and has been adding money to it for the last 18 years. Today I got the news that, his son broke into our house, stole jewelry from my mom, and tried to sell them off. This kid has been basically our younger brother, been on numerous family vacations with us, he’s stayed every year at the hotel with us. He was basically part of the family.

It was shocking news to me and I’m rather speechless tbh. It’s just heart breaking news. I still have to get a chance to talk to my mom for the full details but my brother is pretty much ready to kick his ass I heard and trying to stop him from doing something stupid.
