| Subject: Tough Enough Ratings for Monday's Show Show Great Improvement! Sat 04 Jun 2011, 9:40 pm | |
| http://pwtorch.com/artman2/publish/WWE_News_3/article_50487.shtml WWE Tough Enough on Monday, May 30 scored a 1.74 rating, up one-tenth of a ratings point compared to last week and the show's average over the past four weeks.
It was the highest rating Tough Enough has drawn since the first episode in the regular 8:00 p.m. EST timeslot on April 11.
Tough Enough averaged its usual 2.4 million viewers, but an uptick in adult male viewers helped drive up the overall rating.
Monday's episode was up 19.8 percent in males 18-49 compared to last week and blew away the previous seven weeks to score the highest m18-49 rating since the show's premiere on April 4 the night after WrestleMania.
On cable TV Monday night, Tough Enough ranked #11 in overall viewers, #13 in males 18-34, and #9 in males 18-49. In its time period, Tough Enough only trailed History Channel's "Pawn Stars" in the adult male demos.
Caldwell's Analysis: WWE and USA will like the strong surge in males 18-49. There still isn't word on whether the show will be picked up for a second season, but a near-20-percent uptick in a key demo for the next-to-last episode certainly helps the show's cause. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Cool.
What do you think the odd are of Tough Enough getting another season on USA? | |
