WWE's Supershow presented by Kmart began at 7:30 p.m. EST Friday night.

(1) Evan Bourne beat Sheamus. Before the match, Sheamus took the mic and stated that despite the punt to head from Randy Orton on Smackdown that led to a concussion, he would still compete tonight because he is Irish and superior to all the other WWE Superstars. Bourne won a good back-and-forth match via pinfall in eight minutes.

The Guest Host was introduced: WWE Diva Kelly Kelly. She made an announcement that later on she will be picking four people out of the crowd to win a chance to meet a WWE Superstar of his or her choice. The Bella Twins came out to harass Kelly, but Beth Phoenix made the save. The anonymous Raw GM stated that Brie Bella will take on Beth Phoenix now.

(2) Beth Phoenix beat Divas champion Brie Bella in a non-title match. Phoenix won via pinfall after about seven minutes. Phoenix sold huge for Brie throughout the match, which was a surprise.

(3) Intercontinental champion Wade Barrett beat Ezekiel Jackson to retain the IC Title. Barrett won via pinfall in seven minutes.

(4) Christian beat Daniel Bryan. Before the match, Christian took the mic and crapped on Lowell before complaining about Randy Orton. He also bragged about giving Orton a concussion. Great match with several near-finishes. The crowd was very vocal. Christian won via pinfall in 15 minutes, keeping him strong for the PPV, yet putting Bryan over as a tough out.

(5) Sin Cara beat Cody Rhodes. Rhodes talked smack about how ugly the crowd was so that we didn't notice the ring crew preparing a trampoline for Sin Cara. Cara won in eight minutes via pinfall with a high cross-body off the top rope.

Kelly Kelly returned to the ring to do her previously-mentioned contest. She picked four people out of the crowd: Peter from Methuen, Ricky from Amherst, N.H., Kwame from "West Africa" (Kofi Kingston's alleged brother), and Tina from Lowell. They had a lame dance off. Ricky (the only child in the bunch) won via audience applause. Ricky chose John Cena as the WWE Superstar he wanted to meet. That's eleven minutes of my life that I'll never get back.

[Intermission - a 12-minute break came at 8:55 p.m. The concession line was ridiculous.]

(6) New Nexus (Michael McGillicutty & David Otunga) beat Santino & Kozlov to retain the WWE Tag Titles. Huge pop for Santino's music. McGillicutty pinned Kozlov after 12 minutes.

(7) Alex Riley beat Dolph Ziggler. If "Iron" Mike Sharpe took on "Leaping" Lanny Poffo in 2011, this is what it would have looked like. The crowd was dead and Ziggler's heel offense was too slow. Riley's hope spots and comebacks had energy but, overall, I thought the match was poor. Riley won via pinfall after an uneven eight minutes.

(8) John Cena & U.S. champion Kofi Kingston & Big Show beat Alberto Del Rio & C.M. Punk & R-Truth in a six-man tag match. This was the main event. At the start, Show sneak-attacked Del Rio and the whole ring cleared. Odd start. Big Show and Del Rio disappeared to the back. Huge hometown pop for Cena, then lots of mic work from Punk, Truth, and Cena. I guess Del Rio and Show ain't comin' back, making this a standard tag team match. Cena pinned Punk after about 24 minutes.

Afterward, Cena grabbed the mic and put over the Boston Bruins (cheap pop), Father's Day (lots of Cena's family/friends were introduced in the crowd, and Cena's dad came to the ring for a Hallmark moment), and the PPV. And we're outta here at 10:15 p.m.

Any matches you want to see from here?

Christian/Bryan would be a damn good feud IMO

^ Yeah I would love to see that.

Sadly I think it would be over the IC title and not the WHT but I'd be happy to see it any way possible.

I pretty much like all the matches too; it sounds like it was a great show.

Christian and Bryan match sounds awesome.
