John Morrison explains why he was upset with Trish at Wrestlemania

Teaming with Trish Stratus and Snooki at WrestleMania 27 this past April: The match was what it was. It was very short. I felt like Snooki and I kinda got the cold shoulder, we were standing on the apron the whole time while Trish (Stratus) and Michelle (McCool) spent five minutes in the ring doing the whole match. I think it was an important part of WrestleMania, because say what you want about Snooki, but she has one of the top rated shows right now. Jersey Shore gets better ratings than Raw. She's got this whole fan base, and it's a different fan base, a different demographic, and that's why she was there. That's an important part of the show. Personally, and professionally, I would have loved to have been able to have a 15-20 minute match against Dolph Ziggler, because we've had that on live events, and I know we could've torn the house down. It would have felt great to be able to do that at WrestleMania in front of all those people. You have to ultimately think about it as a business. If someone comes in, and people are going to tune in to watch them, that's why they're there. That's part of the game.

I agree with john morrison that tag match was just a waste of time fuck michelle and trish.I bet michelle is sucking on the undertakers dick for a brand new outfit.

I completely agree with him. It was really pointless to have the guys in that match. It would have made much more sense to just have Trish/Snooki v Lay-Cool.

So, why take it out on Trish instead of, say, Vince or whoever booked it? I'm sure she would have liked a longer match, too.

I agree. Trish isn't the one who planned to have her an McCool wrestle for an hour. It's a very passive aggressive way of going about things.

But we know Trish has more creative input than any of them in the match. Add to the fact that McCool could've pitched for Trish/McCool to be a huge draw, especially considering McCool was getting this huge push.

I do understand where he's coming from. He definitely should've gotten his own match with Dolph. Trish is very arrogant so of course the spotlight had to be on her

So, you're saying she booked the match and not Vince? Seriously?

If she'd had any say, it would have been longer, and about elevating the Divas. Given how high she is on Beth and Nattie, she'd have pushed for at least 10 minutes of her and either Beth or Nattie against LayCool.

The match happened for two reasons...

1. To promote Tough Enough, the entire reason Trish and Austin were at Wrestlemania. Now, I could see Morrison objecting to that show and how it just takes someone and puts them on the big WWE stage without having to work their way up through the indies... That is if winning Tough Enough and being put on the big WWE stage without having to work his way up through the indies wasn't how Morrison got there. He should be the most grateful guy there for that series. He should have been putting Tough Enough over, not being a little bitch and complaining about having to promote it. He's the biggest "Diva" they have, there.

2. Layla. First, a high profile Wrestlemania match with Michelle (main Diva at the time, about to retire), Trish (greatest Diva ever), and Snooki (high profile celebrity), leading to a feud with Michelle that retired McCool. Layla was getting the push, here, and would be Diva's Champion right now if it weren't for her injury.

If he had an issue working with Michelle, he could have taken it up with the Undertaker. Oh wait, that would have required some testicles from the guy who repeatedly let his girlfriend screw around on him. So, he chose to be a primadonna to Trish, instead. And he wonders why the locker room doesn't respect him...

Also, I liked how Edge gave Morrison the "cold shoulder" treatment live on Raw in response to how Morrison treated Trish. Notice Orton's smirk, too...

I never said she booked the match, I said she likes to hog the spotlight.

Also, Edge didn't give Morrison the cold shoulder unless he gave some of the others the cold shoulder too since he didn't acknowledge some of them either.

the issue is that he wanted Melina in the match, not Trish. thats why everyone was giving him the cold shoulder, but i dont expect Morrison to take responsibility for his actions. he, of course, placed all of the blame on Trish.

Morrison was defintely in the wrong on this one.

He already explained his actions yet you STILL think it has to do with Melina. She's a heel, Trish is a face. Melina wouldn't have been in the match to begin with. Put your hate aside for Melina and realize that.

If it was The Rock and god knows who or SCSA or any legend, who can STILL actively do a lot, they would do the majority of the match.

Secondly, Trish is imo one of the most humble people out there. Remember 2005 when she was out the whole summer? She begged management to strip her from the championship and give it to Victoria while she's out. Managment refused so that stopped. Anyone who has worked with Trish has come out for the better. Because she gives it her all and makes sure she isn;t the ONLY person benefitting from it.

Sable made no one...Trish made Victoria, Mickie, Jazz, Nidia etc....she really helps the other women shine.

Lastly, put your hate aside and see that Morrison was just pissed and jealous instead of calling Trish arrogant.

You can add Melina to that long list of women who benefitted heavily from working with Trish. Her first PPV was with Trish at Survivor Series '05, where she looked strong, and was followed by Trish putting her over in 2006 (not cleanly, but still), which put Melina way up the ladder to set up her first Championship run in early 2007.

I would have LOVED a 3rd Victoria title run [not like she has much competition but it would have been better than no belt for the summer imo.].

the point he is right on is this match was about Snooki not Laycool or trish. Snooki was the draw for them it got them on everyone prime time tv show because she was in the match. I know alot of people who watched the ppv to see Snooki in it who hate wrestling. I think Snooki should of been in the match longer and the match should of been longer in general but to each there own.

I think all the hate should be on Snooki. It would be a spit in the face for me personally for someone who never wrestled before get a match at wrestlemania over someone who worked extremely hard.

It's not as though this is the first time they've used a non-wrestler celeb to promote Wrestlemania. The very first Wrestlemana had a ton of them: Cyndi Lauper, Muhammed Ali, Liberace (with the Rockettes), and, in the Main Event yet, Mr. T.

Having a celeb there is a Wrestlemania tradition. They promoted one around Donald Trump, if you'll recall.
