An Update On Melina's Rumored Booking Fee

Melina Perez continues to stir controversy even outside WWE as reports surfaced last week that the recently released Diva is seeking $3,000 and first class accommodations to appear at independent wrestling events. Women Superstars Uncensored, who is advertising Perez to appear at their Breaking Barriers II event on Nov. 11 in Union City, New Jersey, says her reported asking price is untrue.

The women's wrestling league issued a statement on Twitter regarding the matter, which reads, "We will tell you now and squash rumors now. We are paying no where near that, whoever leaked that must have had an agenda."

Melina poked fun at the rumor after arriving to New York City last Friday for an autograph signing. She wrote, "Just got off the plane after sippin' on mimosas & taking a good, long nap in 1st class. Ready to party in NYC. Cuz I'm Melina B!tch*s!!!"

Well, that is good to hear. I am glad she isn't charging an arm and a leg for indy events.

And pretty still won't believe it, even after reading this.

Anyway how much is a reasonable price?

oh god, now ppl that leak shit against Melina have agendas? i feel sorry for the internet...i really do. i fully believe she asked for that much, and they told her NO, then played it off as acting like they didnt.

how does us posting negatively about her affect her in any way? What we say here on this forum has no affect on Melina and how she lives her life. It sure as hell isnt going to suddenly make people NOT want to book her for indy shows lol

If the company who is paying her is saying the number ain't what is being report there is truth to it I would say because they got no reason to lie about it. I wouldn't be shocked if some of this is actually backlash from treating people like shit maybe those other former wrestlers are going to people to leak news to get some revenge for her being a bitch to them.

lol i dont think anyone cares about Melina that much. I still think she charges $3k...just because 1 company isnt paying $3k doesnt mean that isnt what she charges.

They could've just negotiated something different that she agreed to.

Also, it could also be that other wrestlers from WSU complained as well. Because of the news breaking out, WSU management had to kill the story.

It could be true, it could all be a coverup so the other wrestlers don't complain (mind you Jazz could ask for much more now if THAT is what they paid Melina)
