Chris Jericho Claims He'll Never Wrestling for WWE Again

Late last night Chris Jericho posted the following on his Twitter account:

"Let me get something straight...I will never wrestle for the WWE again. But there is some big news coming up in the world of dance...."

There is no word on whether there is any truth to Jericho's statements, or if he's trying to "work" the internet. This would definitely not be the first time a wrestler has stated his or her retirement on Twitter, only to show up a few months later. In fact, this is in opposition to most of the news coming in lately. Wrestlezone has reported in the past that Jericho does indeed have plans to return to pro wrestling, and that he has been considered for a match at next year's WrestleMania.

Im not buying this story so yeah.And 5-6 month title regin?.Thats WAY to long to hold a belt I dont even think john cena held it for that long.

Unfortunately that isn't even close to the truth. He had one 9-month reign, and another which was a little over a year.

Of course that isn't as bad a Hogan (a 4-year reign), Bob Backlund (a reign of nearly 6 years), or Bruno Samartino (a 4-year and another close to 8 years.) Thank goodness nothing like that has happened in WWE since those days.

ok....normal world title runs usually last 5 months. and Cena had the belt for almost 2 years in 2005-2007 so...what?

His last WWE return was exciting for the first few nights. We were all expecting the wisecracking Y2J of old, but then he got into a feud with JBL and got his ass kicked. Then he turned heel and got extremely boring (monotone, overuse of the word "hypocrites", etc.).

yet Jericho proved he was the BEST wrestler on the mic all of 2008, 2009 and 2010. you want boring promos, go watch current Randy Orton.

I found Jericho extremely funny on the mic as a heel, especially when he was bagging Michael Cole.

Completely agree about Orton. He is sooooo boring. He needs a complete gimmick overhaul.

I hope this isn't true. Jericho is the BEST in the world and needs to come back! I want to meet him at Mania
