Two Notable Names Backstage at Raw Last Night

Former WWE Women’s Champion Layla, who is recovering from her torn ACL and MCL injuries, was backstage at Raw last night.

Also visiting was former WWE Diva, Cherry aka Kara Drew, who was part of the SmackDown brand from 2007-2008. As she has noted on Twitter, Cherry is very close friends with Divas Natalya and Beth Phoenix.

Last night’s taping emanated from Tampa, FL, which is where Cherry resides, while Layla was visiting from her hometown of Miami.

WWE seamstress Julie Youngberg tweeted a picture of Layla backstage.

Maybe she took that pic as a dig at that Tough Enough girl who whined about the work backstage they were having to do not being "Divalicious"?

I remember that really setting off Maria on the Afterbuzz show. Maria said she never thought she'd ever be the one saying "Back in the day..." before going off about pampered babies and the stuff they did at OVW setting up the shows.

I just wish Kelly Kelly had been happening by when the girl was whining, just to see her go "Old School Veteran" on someone.

How much longer is Layla going to be out of action?

They are saying Layla is gonna be back around Mania time.
And i saw this comment on diva dirt. but i agree so I want to ask you guys too
Does Layla not look like she has beefed up a little bit, especially in the arms...packing on the muscle to take down DOD is she haha?

And yay for Cherry being back, I was very pissed off WWE released her just cos she was a bit more curvy....but they have Kharma now so come on...bring back one of the only popular divas WWE had from Sd in 2008

Maybe it's the angle of her arm.

I forgot that's why Kara Drew was let go.
