Brock Lesnar goes down in first round, is WM appearance against Undertaker next?

Former WWE main event star Brock Lesnar retired from the sport of Mixed Martial Arts on Friday night after losing in the first round to a powerful and experience stand-up contender, Alistair Overeem. Lesnar took a knee to the body and then a roundhouse kick to the ribcage and collapsed in pain. He covered his head. Overeem continued a barrage of punches to Lesnar's arms as they covered his head. When he moved to a body blow, the ref stepped in and called an end to the fight.

Afterward, a dejected and choked up Lesnar said he promised his wife and kids that if he lost tonight, he'd retire from MMA. He said had he won, he would have moved on to a title fight, which win or lose would have been his last fight.

Lesnar said he's been through a rough two years in which he battled back from a near death experience caused by diverticulitis.

During his entire UFC career, he was taunted with claims that he only won because of his size advantage, and that once match against fighters his size, he'd be humbled. He was. He came very close to losing to Shane Carwin in his return fight, lost decisively to the smaller Cain Velasquez, and was crushed two minutes into Friday night's main event against the equally large and more muscular kick boxing specialist, Alistair Overeem.

The question will now linger: How long until he challenges Undertaker at WrestleMania? He has retired from UFC in time to co-headline WrestleMania 28 against Undertaker in Miami. Or he could wait to be the star attraction at WrestleMania 29 against Undertaker. That's assuming a return to WWE is a lock. Many assume that no matter direction his UFC career went, he'd take the one-night payday and return to WWE for a big WrestleMania match. Undertaker and Lesnar exchanged heated words over a year ago at a UFC event, drawing speculation then over whether it was legit heat between the two or an angle.

but yea, if he returned for one night, i wouldnt mind, I mean, this Mania should be amazing, with Rock vs. Cena already announced (huge Rock fan btw) and Undertakers matches have been really good the past couple of years, possibly Punk and D-Bryan walking into as champs into it if they keep the titles, this Mania really has me excited.

Yeah this really makes me excited for a potential return.

While I don't necessarily think it will be at this year's WM next year could see the in ring return of Lesnar after a long time.

he cant come back to WWE, hes still under contract to UFC until otherwise

If him and Sable returned I'd come all over the place, I don't think I'd be able to handle that. It would be too much for me.

Well his contract has to end sometime and when it does WWE should be a good place to go.
