| Word has it that WWE Superstar X-Pac, whose real name is Sean Waltman, is not too happy to say the least about a recent THQ offer made to him and some other members of the former “Attitude Era” in wrestling. If you don’t know yet, the “Attitude Era” was a period that covered the years from 1995 to 2001.
Fans go back to this era with fondness, thinking about how the D-Generation X was formed by Shawn Michaels and Triple H back in 1997. Michaels retired in 1998. So, there was a revival afterwards. Meanwhile, Stone Cold Steve Austin rose to fame in 1997 and a year later as WWE Champion. The “Attitude Era” has been able to offer what could well be the best and most talented wrestlers in the history of wrestling. Recently, it looks like THQ has offered X-Pac and other wrestlers from the Attitude Era low amounts due to the fact that they do not currently hold either a WWE or a Legends contract. The dollar amount involved has not been specified. Hopefully, THQ and the wrestlers in question will be able to work things out. The good news about this whole thing is that WWE 13 may be including the wrestlers of a well-loved era. Do you want to see more wrestlers from yesteryears? I really would want to see more of the “Attitude Era” guys because a lot of the memories from that period can no longer be viewed. It would be interesting though how this era will be translated to WWE 13.
We could at least appreciate the effort THQ is exerting to make use of characters based on wrestlers from a great past era. It would be nice though if the contracts with the wrestlers are clear and fair. Of course, we cannot really comment about how fair or unfair the present offer is, not really knowing what the amount is like.

| About time they tried getting more Attitude Era peeps in the game.
They use the same guys over and over:
Ted DiBiase, LOD, Stone Cold, Rock, Bret, retro Kane, Foley, Steamboat, etc.
It was refreshing to see new guys: Demolition, Double A, Macho Man, Vader

LOD hasn't been used in several years, but eventually THQ went back to that well. I didn't know about Vader being in that game, but that kinda proves my point. They've put a select few guys in the games; some more than others. I just want guys who hasn't been forced down our throats as much as John Cena.
