Last week Vickie was in control as Guest GM however today that role goes to Theodore Long. Even though last week's Raw only had a short Divas Battle Royal, there were a couple of backstage segments featuring the women so imo it was better than most Raws for the women that is.

Speaking of that battle royal AJ won it and should be on her way to getting a title match against reigning Divas Champ Layla. AJ however has to focus on being the Special Guest Referee for Punk's WWE Title match against Bryan at MITB. Will WWE also push her to a title match at that PPV or will the potential title shot go to someone else [if it even happens]?

Last SD WWE announced in advance a match involving divas to take place tomorrow night at the Great American Bash SD. The mixed tag match will see Layla and Khali team up to face Antonio Cesaro and Aksana. Could Layla face Aksana in singles action tonight in preparation for her tag match at tomorrow's SD?

If so do you think Aksana can potential get the shocking win over the Divas Champ and make a claim to get a future title shot [potentially at MITB]?

So yeah what do you think will happen and what do you want to happen?

no Layla but at least we know she's in action tonight. nice to see Eve and AJ finally interact. i really hope Eve ends up bagging the GM role for herself. Vickie was looking delicious as always

I fucking love AJ!!!! I am miffed Layla still wasn't involved....clearly it is hard for WWE to put effort into more than 1 diva...which is a shame since she is the diva's champion, and was set for a great push before her injury after defeating the unstoppable McCool...Really do hope they make something with Aksana/Layla tnight at least...espesh since Maxine is now gone.

As for AJ though...just like other divas that have been involved in the ME scene like Lita, Trish etc proves that the fans do and would care for women if given a proper character and chance to shine. She is gonna be the future of the division and props to her

It is sad that some sexists douche bags on my other forum have to bitch and moan about a diva being apart of a main event feud..

To some of them women have no place in wrestling..

I think AJ, and others before her, have proven that they can be apart of such feuds and play a great role [the highlight of this feud imo for sure].

Well, those are the same guys who were bitching about Trish, Lita, Victoria, etc, back in the day. They feel threatened. They think women should "stay in the kitchen," and insult them at every opportunity. They then wonder why they can't get any dates. smile

But, they don't matter. It's the crowds that matter, and they like AJ.

it's actually amazing that this year two Divas in AJ and Eve have gotten so much effort put into them by the writers and they've both become so over. perhaps we could hold out hope that when AJ's done with this storyline they'll write another Diva into something good? i mean Kaitlyn could really use a storyline

Kaitlyn could......its extremely sad to see so many young people who burst onto the scene with immediate reactions from the crowd be dropped...Layla was one when she first debuted, but within 2 weeks she disappeared and so did the fans....Kaitlyn was very popular due to her storyline with Vickie...it's not just divas...someone like Alex Riley with his Miz storyline got him over, and now he is nowhere to be seen.

Yeah I remember Kailtyn having a good feud with Vickie that should have continued a little more or at least kept the spotlight on Kaitlyn [in a managing role since then she was still not good by any means in the ring].
