WWE Smackdown on Friday, September 7 scored a 1.95 rating, up from a 1.89 rating the previous week. It was the highest rating since a 2.02 on July 20.
Smackdown averaged 2.95 million viewers, which was up 11 percent from last week. The show was just behind the July 20 episode's 2.96 million viewers for the largest Smackdown audience this summer.
On cable TV Friday night, Smackdown ranked #4 in overall viewers, #1 in its timeslot, and ranked #1 in all key demos on the night.
The key to Smackdown's strong increase was males 12-17. Smackdown was up seven-tenths of a rating compared to last week to easily the highest m12-17 rating of the year.
Elsewhere, Smackdown scored its highest m12-34 rating since July 3 (live Tuesday show). However, Smackdown was down slightly among males 18-48 and males 18-34. | |
