WWE officials are hoping that Jerry Lawler will be back on RAW within a month to six weeks. At the same time, they want him to do what he needs to do to get healthy, that is what's most important right now. Lawler will not be appearing on RAW in person next week as the interview will be done via satellite from his home in Memphis.
As seen on Monday's RAW, WWE aired footage of Lawler being reunited with Dr. Sampson in Memphis after flying back from Montreal. According to PWInsider, the entire scene was directed by Vince McMahon. Vince was there as he left Monday's RAW in Connecticut in the afternoon and flew on the WWE jet to pick Lawler up in Montreal. After the scene was filmed at the airport, Vince and Dr. Sampson flew back to RAW in Connecticut. Regardless of what they say about Vince, it says a lot when the head of a company takes off on their busiest day of the week to pick you up from the hospital and bring you home.
On a related note, Vince came up with the "Long Live The King" t-shirt that WWE is now selling, the same one Michael Cole wore on Monday's RAW.

| People can say all the bad things they want about him, but deep down, we all know he has a heart. | |

| Overall my thoughts of Vince McMahon are sort of high when it comes to this stuff it seems like when they are in the company and something serious happens he takes care of them. The Drug rehab wwe offers to guys who are out of the company is a stand up thing. I ain't sure the only thing I think they get bad is on Medical area ain't sure if they give insurance and how they survive during injuries. | |

- WWE performers are personally responsible for acquiring their own health insurance, life insurance and financial planning. To assist in this process, under WWE's Talent Life Skills program, WWE offers mandatory workshops to its contracted performers to assist them in these matters.
