WWE Smackdown on Friday, November 2 scored a 1.96 rating following the Hell in a Cell PPV. This was up slightly compared to a 1.93 rating for the PPV lead-in show.
Smackdown averaged 2.88 million viewers, which was up two percent from an average of 2.82 million viewers on October 26.
In ratings and viewership, Smackdown has delivered its best three-week stretch since the end of July when Smackdown peaked with a 2.02 rating on July 20. Smackdown struggled to reach even a 1.9 rating after the Olympics, but has re-built momentum the last three weeks leading into the next Super Smackdown special this Tuesday.
- On cable TV Friday night, Smackdown ranked #7 in overall viewers and #3 in the key male demographics. Smackdown was topped by the first Friday night NBA offering of the season, which averaged 3.06 million viewers. Smackdown was also topped by the fall season hit show "Gold Rush" on Discovery.
