WWE Raw on Monday, November 12 scored a 2.87 rating for all three hours. This was in-between a 2.78 rating last week and a 2.94 rating two weeks ago following the Hell in a Cell PPV.

- Raw averaged 4.19 million viewers for all three hours, which was up three percent from 4.08 million viewers last week for a taped show.

In the individual hours, Raw was hurt by the third hour again. Despite a John Cena vs. C.M. Punk main event, Raw's viewership declined from the second to third hour for the 13th consecutive week.

Hourly Break Down - 4.15 million first hour viewers, 4.39 million second hour viewers, and 4.03 million third hour viewers. The third hour drop-off was 8.5 percent, which follows 9.3 percent last week, 10.3 percent two weeks ago, and 6.1 percent three weeks ago.

Raw's third hour did stay above the four-million-viewers benchmark for the first time in five weeks and only the second time in the past nine weeks.

- On cable TV Monday night, Raw ranked #2 in overall viewers and key male demos behind the NFL game, which averaged 12.8 million viewers. That's in-line with ESPN's MNF average this season.

In the weekly demos, Raw was up and down compared to last week. The high-point was males 18-34, which scored its highest rating of the fall season. The low-point was adults 18-49, which registered the lowest rating in the demo in three weeks.

Caldwell's Analysis: An average performance. Not bad, not good. Just kind of where Raw is, even with WWE trying to throw out a PPV headline match of Cena vs. Punk on short notice. WWE not allowing the audience to anticipate anything and just giving away everything in this three-hour format prevents big matches from moving the needle.

As noted before, the November 12th WWE RAW did a 2.86 cable rating with 4.19 million viewers.

In the segment breakdown, Randy Orton and Kofi Kingston vs. Dolph Ziggler and Alberto Del Rio lost 74,000 from the opener. The angle with Vickie Guerrero, AJ Lee, John Cena and Dolph Ziggler as well as Big Show vs. William Regal gained 468,000 viewers, which is strong growth for that point in the show. Layla vs. Kaitlyn and clips to hype Jerry Lawler's return lost 234,000 viewers.

Lawler's return with the segment involving CM Punk, Paul Heyman and Mick Foley gained 745,000 viewers for a high 3.38 quarter hour rating. The end of the angle lost 876,000 viewers.

Sin Cara, Rey Mysterio, Tyson Kidd and Justin Gabriel vs. Titus O'Neil, Darren Young, Primo and Epico gained 233,000 viewers in the last few minutes. Tensai vs. R-Truth lost 253,000 viewers. Brad Maddox vs. Ryback gained 755,000 viewers for a 3.28 quarter rating in the 10pm timeslot. This is the best 10pm growth in a long time.

Sheamus vs. David Otunga lost 910,000 viewers, which would be among the most viewers lost in one segment all year. Kane and The Miz vs. Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow lost 40,000 viewers. The lowest point of the whole show came at the beginning of CM Punk vs. John Cena. The first half of that match lost 313,000 viewers and did a 2.42 quarter hour rating. It picked up at 11pm for the overrun, finishing with a 2.99 quarter rating after gaining 528,000 viewers.

Otunga is a ratings killer, haha.

Yeah but I think it also has to do with the fact that no one really cares to see Sheamus get an easy win. Same is probably true for any match that viewers know will only last 3 minutes.

It is like why even bother watching it you know who will win..?

Exactly it's like Why even bother watching a Ryback match against a mid carder when he's just gonna defeat them in like 2 seconds.
