TNA Impact on Thursday, January 10, 2013 scored a 1.02 rating, down more than one-tenth of a rating from a 1.14 rating last week.
One week after drawing their largest audience since August, TNA's viewership declined 25 percent to 1.29 million viewers. This brought Impact back to the new timeslot average of 1.30 million viewers.
- On cable TV Thursday night, Impact ranked #42 in overall viewers, down seven spots from last week. Impact was also down seven spots in males 18-34 and down four spots in males 18-49.
Adding to Impact's lackluster performance in the key demos, the Disney movie "Tangled" out-rated Impact among m18-34 & m18-49. Impact was also topped by male-oriented programming "Family Guy" repeats on TBS and "Pawn Stars" repeats on History Channel.
In the week-to-week demos, Impact declined one-tenth of a rating in m18-49 & a18-49, more than one-tenth in a18-34 & m18-34, and nearly two-tenths among teen males.
Caldwell's Analysis: And, Impact is back to the 2012 new timeslot average of a 1.0 rating and 1.3 million viewers. It will be interesting to see if Week 3 swings back to the Week 1 performance with a hot-shot wedding angle and PPV fall-out. But, the biggest concern is TNA's performance in the key male demographics, with TNA losing their key demo after last week's show. | |
