The big winner at Sunday's BAFTAs will be "Argo," which is predicted to prevail in four of its seven races: Best Picture, Director (Ben Affleck), Adapted Screenplay and Editing. Our Oscar odds favor it winning Best Picture and Editing on Feb. 24.

Six films are forecast to win two BAFTA Awards each, as detailed below. And "Lincoln" -- which leads with 10 nominations -- is expected to take home just one prize: Best Actor (Daniel Day-Lewis).

Gold Derby surveyed our experts and editors as well as hundred of users to predict the winners, which will be revealed just two days after final Oscar voting begins. (Click here to see a breakdown by category of the predicted winners and potential spoilers.)

"Les Miserables" is expected to win two of its nine bids: Supporting Actress (Anne Hathaway) and Sound.

"Skyfall" is on track to take two of its eight races: British Film, Cinematography

"Life of Pi" is forecast to win two of its nine nods: Score, Visual Effects

"Anna Karenina" will win two of its six bids: Production Design, Costume Design

"Django Unchained" should go two for five: Supporting Actor (Christoph Waltz), Original Screenplay

"Amour" should bat .500, winning two of its four races: Actress (Emmanuelle Riva) and Foreign Language Film.

And "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" will go one for three claiming Makeup & Hair.

This year, BAFTA did away with the long lists that preceded the final nominations and restructured the nomination process to be more like that of the Oscars.

All BAFTA members cast nomination ballots for Best Picture and the four performance prizes. Chapters (akin to the academy's branches) determined the nominees for a slew of creative categories -- Adapted Screenplay and Original Screenplay; Cinematography; Costume Design; Director; Editing; Make-Up & Hair; Original Music; Production Design; Sound; and Special Visual Effects.

The membership as a whole voted on the winners of all these races. And members could opt in to chapters and vote for the nominees and winners of the feature prizes for: Animation, British, Documentary and Foreign-language.
